All excellent points!
Your points remind me of an episode of Top Gear some years ago. In that episode, they drove a BMW 7 Series V8 around a track, and had a new Prius follow it around and then see how their fuel consumption rates compared in the end.
Of course, everyone thought the BMW V8...
They are in demand for business use. I sold my old '23 Eco XL to Chevy Dealership in Longview, WA. They were so keen to get the truck that they paid my all the $$ I paid for the truck including tax and license plus $100 for my trouble to sell it. They were going to place their logo on it...
I wonder how many "pick-ups" would one have to make to pay for those graphics. They are actually professional looking and grab your attention.
My state already charges a $75 annual fee on vehicle registration for hybrid cars, so this proposed $100 would be on top of this. I drive 4K a year so I would be paying much more than an ICE Maverick Would for gas tax For the same mileage. Another cash grab by the administration.
I hear you. That flip key was one of the reasons that I traded my '24 Maverick XLT in along with the constant battery drain issue. It's a small thing, but it can make a difference on overall owner satisfaction.
I am so very glad that I purchased my 9 year/100k Granger Ford warranty last month for my ‘25 Maverick.
I checked it just now, and it went up by $230.00 or 15% this week.
Thanks for giving us the heads up!
I picked up my 9 year, 100k warranty for $960 last month including redeeming my Ford Points. The deal was far too good to pass up especially since yesterday’s price increase.
I had a '23 XL truck for almost a year. The price was right, but as a long-term vehicle, it was indeed the poverty pack of the Maverick lineup. I traded it in, and now I have a '25 XLT w/lux & 360. I am much happier with the new vehicle despite the additional cost for the long term.
I lessened my issue with the deep sleep battery issue (so far) by deleting the Ford Pass app off my phone. That being said, the problem was much less of an issue with my '25 vs the weekly trickle charge I needed to do with my 2024 XLT which was one of the reasons that I choose to upgrade to a...
Just purchased a Granger Ford Extended Warranty for 100k miles and 9 years coverage ($100 deductible) for $948.00 including redeeming my Ford Pass Points. 2025 Ford Maverick XLT w/lux.
My local dealer quoted me about $4k for a 10 year & 100k warranty with a 3rd party company at time of...
Fontal air bags are generally designed to deploy in "moderate to severe" frontal or near-frontal crashes, which are defined as crashes that are equivalent to hitting a solid, fixed barrier at 8 to 14 mph or higher. The body shop told me they may have been defective or the sensor was damaged...
I hope you have a swift recovery, and it is so mentally taxing having the trauma of an accident. I also wondered how these cars would hold up in an accident.
I was in a 25-mph frontal crash with my 2010 Toyota Tacoma Truck, and my front airbags did not deploy either. No one seemed to care...
I also have a 2025 XLT hybrid, and it seems to me that it engages the e-brake when I park or turn off the vehicle? When I start up the car through, I do not need to release the e-brake. Has anyone else noticed this or is it my imagination?
