The owner's manual says nothing about an audible alert in the Blindspot. Based on what I know so far, I would assume that the truck does not have that feature. thanx steve
My wife's Toyota Highlander has a Blindspot warning system that gives an audible warning, as well as the flashing visual on the Sideview mirror. I cannot find any evidence that there is an audible warning on my Maverick, which is a 2024. Comments?
Thanks again, Steve.
I had no idea when I posted this I would get so many great responses and open up such a large can of worms. Thank you all for your input. I've learned a lot, tho' not sure there's much I can do, other than pulling that fuse. thanx steve
@sg777 that's the response my wife would've given!
Where is the fuse being discussed? Also, if I remove it, is there a downside?
Thanks, Steve..... I am a newbie to this truck. That's for sure.
I hate to be paranoid,, but does my 2024 Maverick report my driving habits to anyone? LexisNexis, ,etc. I know that some vehicles allow you to report the data for a lower insurance premium, but doesn't do it automatically? Thanks. I have to go now, someone's after me. steve
Are you saying that the little dial sets the speed of the intermittent wipers and only works with the stalk in the intermittent position? This would make sense, although it seems superfluous to me.
My old vintage jalopies only have high and low speeds, and that's only when they're working...
Please forgive this novice question, but the Owner’s Manual was vague and not helpful. On the windshield wiper stalk, I understand that raising or lowering the stalk itself controls the speed of the wipers. I also understand that pushing the lever itself toward me, activates the windshield wiper...
@Bosquebass you got a good deal, for sure. I paid window sticker and thought I was brilliant for getting them to knock off several thousand in "mandatory add-ons". s
