i have a 2023 Lariet hybrid in Alto blue, no sunroof :( but i still love it. i reached out to my dealer where i've bought all my new vehicles for some 30yrs and said i wanted to get a Mav. After they stopped laughing they said that they'd try to find me one but not to get my hopes up. well in 1 wk they had found a XLT hybrid that sold 10 min b4 i could get there, 2 wks after that they offered me another(no roof) and i jumped on it after they promised i would have a 2024 Lariet with a roof ordered as soon as Ford would allow. i took delivery on 26 april 2023 at sticker price minus my Ford 'A plan' discount after only 3wks of searching! now i'm sure i'll be singing the same old 'when will i get my newly ordered Maverick blues' while waiting for my 2024 build but at east i'll have my 2023 to console me while i wait.

Lucky rascal. Nice to have a dealer that takes care of customers, unlike some, and who does not try to add an enormous ADM. Post some pics. I have a Lariat hybrid in Alto Blue (loaded) and love it. In my 58 years of buying new vehicles (bought my first one at 18 so those who passed HS math might can figure out my age), I have never had a new vehicle that I liked more than this one. Constant 43+ mpg in mostly highway driving and comfortable. My only complaint is not the gas bill - it is the WATER bill. Alto Blue loves baths.

I have to agree. If I look at my Alto Blue sideways, it generates a dirty spot that requires a complete wash (and wipedown). But when it shines that deep blue-green in the sun, it's all worth it.

generally loving my new truck! also fighting hard to mod the heck out of this sucker because i DO intend to pursue a '24 lariet hybrid with a roof and i'm reluctant to do any permanent mods that ant be moved to the next truck.

What is this "washing" thing you discuss here? My wife used to have a gunmetal gray truck that was constantly dirty... She called it "the protective coating for the paint."

My Area 51 Maverick seems to send any dirt that lands on it off to some other planet... It hardly ever looks dirty! After driving a dark maroon-red truck for a few years, that is really appreciated. It showed every speck of dust!

We ordered our Mav right after having to pay Honda dealership to unclog the sunroof drain tubes on our Odyssey. (I just couldn't figure out how to get anything in there to do it myself).

So of course wife didn't want a sunroof on the Mav. But yesterday after almost 2 months of ownership, she says she wishes we got it.

I love convertibles, and have owned many of them. But my experience with moonroofs has been, well, shall we say "Not so great." The Maverick First Edition Hybrid I purchases last November came with all the FE "stuff" including the moonroof.

First of all, I was quite surprised by the fact that the moonroof didn't seem to compromise headroom at all - which is one of the major complaints I've had with them in the past. Second, I've found that with the rear slider open, there is surprisingly little wind noise and turbulence - at least below 60 mph, which is how I've driven with it open.

I've actually been enjoying having the moonroof enough to regret that I didn't order it on the Cyber Orange Maverick I ordered for myself... But such is life.
