Actually the Noco should be mounted as close to the battery under the rear seat as possible since it adjusts charging parameters due to temperature. Would not materially affect charging overnight if truck had been turned off for several hours. Placing noco under seat introduces consideration of running 120v line from wall to the noco maintainer. With Ford BMS between noco and battery one would naturally assume that the Ford bms would break ground and turn off the noco if it was trying to charge outside of programmed boundaries of installed battery. (How about that for a can of worms thought???).Thank you. I will check that out. The other issue is the larger size of my clamp on maintainer. I’m partial to the NOCO due to its much smaller size. Also not sure how mine would hold up in a heated engine bay.
