Tracking sheet template needs an update for 2025 model, change to colors, add 19 inch wheels. I have not been on this site since I purchased my 2022 Maverick Lariat so I am not sure how to get to site admin requesting template updates. Thankyou

@Administrator , do we want to keep using the tracking sheet? Or has that sort of lost steam?

I couldn't help but notice that Long McArthur Ford was the dealership on several of these scheduled orders. Assuming all things being equal (order is identically equipped from Mutiple dealerships) how does Ford determine what dealership gets their orders filled first? Is there a pecking order based on previous sales, geographic location, etc.? Are small dealerships being the last to get scheduled even though they have the allocations?
Just curious how this works.

@Mike1597 , Here is a great video clip that explains it all. It should be queued up to the correct spot in the video. Short answer is that allocations are given once per month to dealers for scheduling the following month. Allocation quantity is based on a formula that includes previous sales of the same vehicle in the past. "Turn and Earn" is a phase that is applicable. "Turn"/Sell Mavericks in order to "Earn" allocations in the future.

Orders being scheduled now (for production in November) are using allocations that that dealer knew the quantity of earlier this month. Long McArthur knew how many allocations they had before today, as an example. Now, the dealer doesn't get to pick which orders are scheduled, other than trying to influence Ford Corporate by using Priority Codes in a way that shows which orders the dealer prefers are looked at first.

Dealers can ask for more allocations, and sometimes get more. It depends on if there is space in the assembly plant schedule to slot more in. Smart dealers always ask for "more" since there is no harm in asking.

Long McArthur is also very active on this site, so it's natural to expect to see a lot of orders from them on here. I don't think that's reflective of the amount of trucks sold nationwide, just a data bias on this site.

Yep. And based on the ....two?... partial VINs in this thread so far, Ford scheduled at least 2,723 Mavericks today (minus any pre-production/test/marketing ones they built months ago). So Long McArthur did share with some other dealerships. Ha!

Thank you but this doesn't answer my question.
My question is how Ford prioritizes what dealership gets their existing assigned allocations scheduled. For example, there might be 1000 dealerships all with one or more unused allocations. What criteria does Ford use to select one dealership over another when scheduling?

Total allocations roughly mirror the assembly plant anticipated capacity. So if there are 1,000 dealerships, and each dealership receives 5 allocations for November production, that assumes a few things.

1. Ford expects to be able to build 5,000 Mavericks in November.
2. Each of those 1,000 dealerships sold around the same quantity of Mavericks last year at this time. Which won't be true, as sales volume varies a lot based on dealer size and location. It is sort of a "big sellers get the big allocations" scenario. Which sounds unfair, but would it be fair for the dealer who sells 10 Mavericks per year to receive 25 allocations in a single month, while the dealer who sells 100 per month gets that same number (25) allocations? Nope, which is why it is somewhat based on prior sales volume.

Using Long McArthur as an example, they made it no secret that they had allocations in the low to mid 20's this month (can't remember the specific number), but have an open order quantity somewhere in the high 20's to low 30's (once again, can't recall the specific number). They won't get all their orders scheduled this month due to that.

My 24 is now officially for sale...
I haven’t received an email, nor have I chatted with anyone in Ford.com, but I ordered this exact same Mav (Green Lariat hybrid AWF w/4k, on 8/11) so this is reassuring.
