Snox,One has to wonder at what point do people stop getting insurance? Michigan has been in a death spiral for a few years. No fault and rising rates have caused it to climb fast and the faster it climbs the more people don’t have it. Last time I got in an accident the driver at fault had zero insurance.
Which then raises my insurance more.
Another thing I seem to notice here in South Texas is the amount of fairly new vehicles with body damage driving down the road.
Either their afraid to contact their insurance agent or like you said don’t have insurance.
I have trouble with the later from the standpoint of financial institutions requiring you have full coverage as long as you owe them $$$$.
