Some people asked why the horsepower and torque went down for 2025. Ford added a new gas particulate filter to meet emissions requirements and this reduces the maximum horsepower that Ford can deliver.

So it'a not a new engine for the 2025's EcoBoost? Engine bay just has some different parts than 2022-24?

The 2024 Lariat Tremor is around 40k, so it's not too bad of an increase from that price point given the new features.

you have an XLT lux Tremor which starts at $37,350, I just built one. if you were converting CAD to USD that is not a valid comparison because of the current strength of the US dollar.

whether you were building a MY25 in US or Canadian dollars, I'm sure you noticed that they eliminated the XLT Tremor for MY25. the only Tremor now includes all Lariat options and builds upon that so this is where your increase is at.

I'm just starting my search to order a new Maverick and I saw on reddit there's a good offer for Chapman Ford in Northeast Philadelphia. I saw the message on there from Ed Simpson with the offer. I just wanted to see on here if that's a good dealership to work with because I want to jump on it if they're trust worthy. Should I order through them?

@prsncat's good/bad dealer list had that dealer listed as "good" last year. Have not seen a newer version, but someone here should be able to tell you how to find it. There were three Chapman dealers listed as good on that list.

I can supply you with a Sport mode run with enough data gathered from different sensors you can see that the Amps going to the Motor is not from the HVB, and the amps coming from the Generator due to engine running is not going to the HVB.
Others have posted the HP curve of the engine, the final little gains to HP with RPM is not as efficient as just powering the Motor more, that thing is efficient.

The max 94 kW Motor can't be totally fed from the HVB due to max discharge rate from it being 27 kW, nor can the HVB received total possible energy from the Generator due to max charge rate being 32 kW.

Suggest you get Forescan Lite and log some data in these modes - it's interesting.
I can't read the gauges as fast as others for live observations, and my son isn't into reading it for me anymore.

So, you are saying the ICE driven motor/generator is directly powering the traction motor? I suggested this in the previous topic here https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...wer-meter-calibrated.49353/page-4#post-858548 and you didn't think that was what was happening. Have you changed your opinion?

I bought my '22 Hybrid FE from Chapman Ford in Horsham, PA. They were great to work with, they stuck by the original price they quoted me when a lot of dealers were adding ADM to ordered Mav's.
They were selling them initially at 4% under invoice which was a great deal, can you believe I got a '22 Hybrid FE with everything on it for $31k, boy those were the days. My '25 Hybrid AWD Lariat is about $10k more.

I was reading up on them I was told not to go near the Hatboro location, I've been hearing good things about the Philly location. It's like night and day apparently.

I ordered one from them super smoothly on launch. Upon delivery i decided i couldn't live with the old technology. They were great from start to finish. **shrugs**

Lol, in theory I liked the idea, but it was literally crap in practice. I only called it out since it was stated that the GT was the only DCT Ford offered. Wet clutch is the way to go imo.

I honestly didn't think they'd have AWD for the hybrid. 4k towing is a huge surprise. Ecoboost is a waste of time now. I wonder how popular XL AWD hybrids will be? I'm extremely happy with my 23 XL hybrid, but an AWD+4K hybrid XL is tempting.

This is my issue right now. I like my 23 Hybrid XL but man that AWD is tempting. But it also comes at around $8k difference in price from what I paid.

I went and configured a ‘25 in the same spec as my ‘23 (XLT FX4, no 4K no Lux, extra cost for HPR, MSRP of $29.5k) and not only it came to almost $36k, by selecting FX4 it required the Lux package (additional $2.5k). I see the new Ruby Red Metallic is cheaper than HPR.

I justified having bought mine last summer, because I wouldn’t have been able to afford a ‘25 XLT FX4 at this time.

Geez I guess they're really trying to push that lariat package? I guess wireless Android auto is good enough for me although I would like the charging as well.

Unless they upgraded the wireless charging pad to a higher output, I found it completely useless with a wireless AA module. The charging pad would barely keep the phone charge level, and just make it really hot. While wireless AA was nice, the charging pad really didn't do alot. I was really disappointed.
