I know there are new vehicles with manual windows. They were designed for them and the internal mounting points built in. I find the video hard to believe that Ford would redesign the rear doors adding those points to all doors, sourcing a supplier for the cranks (not off the shelf for a Maverick), and incorporate it into the BOMs for production. The return on investment would never happen. Maybe the next restyle of the Maverick they might do it since they would have a 5 year run likely. But not mid-refresh, just too short of time to make it profitable. Part contracts and prototyping usually are 3 to 5 years before production.Believe it or not, I've seen those cranks on vehicles that are still on the road and only a decade old if not less.
