This is my first post and I only registered because I think I'm placing too much blind faith in the process. Does Ford realistically think that they can deliver at the pace that orders are even placed? We are months into production and basic add ons like spray in bedliner are still 3% constraints not even including that hybrids are constrained in general. People from June are still waiting for build dates months into production and builds are scheduled almost all the way through December. In the six remaining months of the model year, they can honestly build ALL of the hybrid orders that are outstanding from June through November??? This honestly seems unrealistic.

I got really excited an hour ago. I received an email from my Dealer, Chapman Ford, Horsham PA.

Here is the subject when I opened it: Save More On Your Custom Ford Order With Chapman!

Boy was I disappointed. I just knew they knew something I didn't and was letting me know. I was bummed to see I could get it for 3% below invoice as opposed to the 4% below invoice I already have. What a let down. Why didn't they send this yesterday? Why do they send this about the same time Ford notifies customers?

FYI: @Dealerinsider
At least you got something. My emails have only been replies when I've changed something or had a question.

Yes Sir, I do.

Now you know why I went and purchased a Toyota Hybrid. Finally came to the conclusion that I rarely used the bed on the F-150 I traded in on the Venza

My faith has waned. First with a Bronco Sport order that never materialized and now a June Maverick order that isn't going anywhere (got the "sometime next year" email).

Funny thing is, I was a die-hard Ford fan throughout the 90's and early 00's until Ford abandoned a lot of their product line that appealed to me. Remember this from their CEO in 2011:

Ford's market research showed that many Ranger buyers were looking for a cheap vehicle but didn't need a pickup specifically. With a stronger lineup of small cars, Ford thinks it can keep those buyers. Among customers looking specifically for a pickup, Ford believes it can sell the F-150 to most of those buyers.

Basically, Ford said, you want an F-150 or a Focus. Ford didn't know their market, and many moved on, spurring the return of the Ranger, and the release of the Broncos and Maverick. Unfortunately, it has been extremely frustrating trying to acquire a Ford. I've been at it about a year, with deposit down, and still waiting.

I looked long and hard at the Venza. It’s a nice SUV. I’m hanging in for the Maverick for the base price and the bed. I’m at $32500 (including TTL) for the Mav and I would have been closer to $42K on the Venza.

Hey I ordered June 10th too. Have you heard ANYTHING? Like a VIN number or any update? Where did you order from? I ordered from a small Ford dealership in Maryland. I thought smaller ones would get less priority or something, but I know another guy who ordered from a different small dealership in Maryland a month after me that got a VIN and build date.
Do you have a formal order with an order number and a dealer sales number (top right corner on the build sheet)? also, did they take a pic of your drivers license? If not you don’t have a formal order. The drivers license is the key to the Maverick order process. Anything else is considered deal stock. And make sure there’s no dealer markups too. Good luck.

I have never heard of a scheduling e-mail come on a Friday other than people who were notified second hand through their dealer.
We've actually seen them on a Saturday (one time)

Nope. Still have yet to receive any email of any kind from Ford. No free FITS garbage for my hybrid, I guess. Called Ford marketing to confirm my email and status and it's still "in process" since June. Their lack of communication alone is pushing me to reconsider my order.
Did you at least get an order confirmation from Ford?
If your order wasn't confirmed you have actually not ordered. Best check on that right away with your dealer, before they close the window.
