22 Hybrid, Factory Continentals. I have 50,000 miles on them now and expect to get 60,000 + out of them. I drive mostly highway and tow just light trailers.
I have the same trailer as you do and plan on pulling it with my Hybrid as well. I have not towed it very far yet, home from the dealer and to put it in storage has been it. I did get a weight dist. hitch and it tows very nice with it, although with the trailer hooked up before hooking the...
They all look good to me. A little piston wash on a couple of the pistons, thats were the pistons are cleaner on the side by the cylinder, nothing major, pretty normal for direct injection, gas or diesel.
55,000+ on my 22 Hybrid and no issues. A few times it has gone into battery saver mode, but has started every time. Did a battery voltage monitor reset and have not had it since. No vibrations from the CV Axles, no other engine or transmission issues at all. Been really good. Really happy with...
I did the same kind of towing with my Hybrid. Motorcycle in the bed along with some other camping supplies and a pop up tent trailer behind it. My pop up has a shorter hitch so I had to get a hitch extension to get the hitch further back in order for it to clear the tailgate. Pulled it great and...
I have a 22 XLT Hybrid with the Lux Package and Co-Pilot 360, just turned 45,000 miles. Did have the rear window leaking water when I first got it (had headliner replaced). Other than the recalls, I have not had any issues with mine. I did have the Deep Sleep happen a few times but I charged the...
When I worked at a Toyota Dealership years ago, I did some oil changes and the factory oil filters were on very tight, basically had to almost tear them off. We always joked that they must have Samson or the Hulk working at the factory putting the filters on.
You will still need to hand wash with something, mitt, brush, etc. The foam does not take all the dirt and such off just by spraying it on and pressure washing off.
The 2025 Hybrid Mavericks with AWD can now tow 4,000pnds just like the EcoBoost AWD models in 22-24 with the 4K tow package. The reason for the lower towing capacity on the 22-24 was the front wheel drive, same as a FWD EcoBoost model. (If anyone ever ordered one of those.)
Well if you want to get that technical then yes it does. But for the layman as long as you don't go over the payload or towing capacity of your vehicle you should not reach GCWR. I just towed my 1500 pnd tent trailer loaded with another 100 pnds of cargo, so 1600pnds and had about 500 pnds of...
Load in the bed or cab of the truck has nothing to do with your tow rating. But your payload (weight in your truck bed/cab) is affected by the tongue weight of your trailer.
I pull a 1500pnd Flagstaff Pop Up Tent Trailer with my Hybrid and it tows it great. Still get around 28-30mpg on the highway at 60+mph with some freeway at 70mph, even up a pass or two. I do not have any brakes on mine but it brakes good and I have no problem slowing down, just have to remember...
22 XLT Hybrid, got it February of 22. Just over 36,000 miles and no problems. Its my daily and we take it most places with the family so that's why it has so many miles. Been getting close to 40mpg on my daily commute of 18 miles one way on the highway at 65mph. I tow and 1500pnd tent trailer...
