I think I will just keep my '22 Lariat EB which cost $28,800 and has 14 payments left at 0% interest rate!! Just hit 19k miles with no problems so far. Interested to see the msrp's on the various models. Still not sure I like the new front end; reserving judgement until I see one up close and personal.

I agree. the price increase over the last 2-3 years is ridiculous. The Maverick was supposed to be the "affordable pickup truck". but raising the price 5-7k in just 3 years is absurd. It is no longer affordable. it is now just another small pickup. besides that fact, it comes in a Hybrid option. there is nothing special about this truck anymore.

Current xlt hybrid so the change will be 7.5k-8k range then ? I don’t see that

We'll revisit it when pricing is released but not sure how you got to $7.5-8k when I said $33-34k which is $5k-$6k more than current XLT hybrid.

The AWD option on an Escape is $1500. Priced a platinum hybrid and without is 38610, with is 40110 so $1500. Hopefully this holds true for Maverick and there isn't a premium for it being AWD on a truck.
Ford only offers the AWD Hybrid on ST Line and higher - which starts at over $37k

Big news! Snow climate customers will love it, as well as those who want to tow and get great fuel economy. I bet the demand will be huge, depending on pricing. The headlights are slowly growing on me, but I'm still leery of giant touch screens with climate control.

Eh, spending anything more than $40k for a Maverick is bad. The build quality and interior is pretty bad. I would not spend over $40k for the my25 unless they improved the interior reduce all the rattles. I bet the lariat awd hybrid with some packages will be easily $50k otd

Any word on the plug in hybrid option? It seems I heard that was going to be an option with the 2025, but I don't think I've heard anything about it in any of the 3 "Spied" articles showing the new changes.

I said it before Ford: make the big screen available without forcing me to go to the Lariat (and keep the truck affordable), and I'm all in on the 2025.

Plug in doesn't make much sense over the regular hybrid. It will cost a lot more, weigh more, and take decades to recoup the cost of the upgrade if not more.

Example, 30 miles electric on 12 kWh useable (pretty standard for Maverick shape).

7500 miles all electric costs about $450

7500 miles at 40mpg costs about $650.

That is 30 miles x 5 days a week x 50 weeks a year. Basically best case for plugin usage.

Ford is killing me out here..
AWD, hybrid, good-looking front end, 360 cam, bigger screen..

looks like some local dealer will get to rip me off on my trade in.
Same here

Well this is enticing. Many have always wondered if Ford was gonna offer an AWD Hybrid and they finally got their wish. Also, judging by the interior shots, it doesn't look that much different other than the implementation of the new Sync 4 screen. The blue dash with brown trim (at least on the Lariat) retains and still has the same overall shape. The a/c vents, cubby behind the screen and speaker grille on the upper dash all look the same. The texture of the dash seems different to me. Looks smoother. Not sure if it's false perspective or if they made a material change but I highly doubt it.

The front fascia looks decent, definitely an improvement compared to that god awful blue one with the SEMA wheels. I do like how much more modern the headlights are. Instead of having the cheaper, reflector-style headlights, it will have the more advanced projector beam LEDs which give off more light for night driving. Plus, they look nicer. The front bumper looks decent but it's the center section that looks funky. I don't like the way it protrudes like a retainer. If it was just flush, it wouldn't look so bad.

Grille looks nice but but rest of the front end is still atrocious. Awesome that an awf hybrid is being introduced.

Hopefully people will shut up about an AWD hybrid now, super annoying. Most people don't even need it.
Need? Or want! Little bit of both for me.

Keeping my '23. Trouble free. Rattle free. Runs strong and gets exceptional mileage for an all gas truck. Ford also has to prove to me the hybrid is as exceptional trouble free as my beast before I sign on the dotted line. Not trashing the hybrids, great little trucks just not the top of the list for me right now.

All I want is the bigger head unit! As soon as it can be sold over the counter, more aftermarket models will be built and then those of us who want a full screen can get one!!
