Yep. A Hybrid Lariat with no additional options and destination fee is $35835 now. Add the yearly price increase, premium for being a refresh year with added features like the big screen, and a major increase for AWD and you are well over $40K to start. Wouldn't be surprised if they make this an XLT/Lariat only option as well since they already sell more XL's than they can make.
A larait yes xlt and xl no xlt is the best value for the truck in my opinion. Probably won’t make xl version of it

Ford is killing me out here..
AWD, hybrid, good-looking front end, 360 cam, bigger screen..

looks like some local dealer will get to rip me off on my trade in.
Interior quality is way better on Cruz and vehicle is just more refined in general.

I bought a Maverick because $ and looks but the Hyundai was a better vehicle overall.

That being said the Maverick is killing it in sales and honestly if Ford opened another factory for them they probably sell even more as long as the price doesn't keep creeping up.
The interior yea that’s fair point but now with new screen and 360 camera maverick does everything else better . Unless they added 360 camera to cruz?

The cheapest AWD Hybrid Escape starts over $37k.

Expect the cheapest AWD Hybrid Maverick to sticker for no less than $33k-34k.

Front end still looks like shit.
I wouldn't say shit.
The headlights, grille, and lower bumper are better IMO, the blank bumper areas on the inside bottom of headlights just look odd.

The AWD option on an Escape is $1500. Priced a platinum hybrid and without is 38610, with is 40110 so $1500. Hopefully this holds true for Maverick and there isn't a premium for it being AWD on a truck.

We just spied the latest camouflage reduction on Ford’s revamped 2025 Maverick which confirms once and for all that the mid-cycle overhaul will marry the Hybrid powertrain with AWD, answering one of the big wish-list items since the compact pickup burst on the scene.

Badges Confirm Hybrid AWD Addition to the Maverick Lineup
This confirmation comes thanks to the removal of the rest of the camouflage on one of the Maverick prototypes—named Benito, according to the sticker applied to the truck’s rear window. With the rear camouflage gone, the fully-badged tailgate announces this important new development. Now, Maverick buyers don’t have to choose between a FWD-only fuel-sipper, or the less-efficient AWD variant. They can get power to all four wheels, AND the Maverick’s fuel-efficient hybrid drivetrain. We also included an earlier shot of the “Benito” before the graphic wrap was removed, in order to provide a better look at the independent rear suspension that makes up the Maverick AWD variant.

New Grille Design and Front-Fascia Fully Revealed
This Hybrid AWD prototype also gives us our first fully uncovered look at another one of the Maverick’s revised front fascias for its 2025 lineup. Our earlier shots of a blue, Lariat-badged, undisguised Maverick prototype with lots of body-color trim revealed a new vertically-slatted grille design that was likely a new sporty package available for the Lariat or XLT trims (as it is with the Tremor package). This new prototype—Benito—is also badged as a Lariat, but its aggressive grille texture is completely different, and reveals the Maverick’s new face without the body-color accents and newly available fog lights. We also get a very close-up look at the Maverick’s redesigned headlights, which have more F-150 flavor on the trucklet’s new face.

We also get another look at the Maverick’s new, larger infotainment screen, without any camouflage adorning the dashboard. Once again, it appears to be the 13.2-inch landscape display that is also found on the upper trims of the Ford Escape and the Mustang. More tech upgrades will be found in augmented safety sensors, which may also bring with it Blue Cruise availability. New cameras have been installed on the side mirrors of higher-end Maverick trims, along with a frontal radar sensor that can be seen nestled into the truck’s lower air-intake.

Hate the new front bumper on how it runs up to the headlights.

There are a lot of suspect things about these pictures. Its badged as a lariat yet no paint matching, not even the mirrors.. No fog lights... XLT grille... This doesn't even look like the Lariat exterior but maybe it's badged as one because Hybrid AWD will be a Lariat only option? who knows. A lot doesn't make sense about these photos though...
