I am getting about he same as Jeff for my AWD 4k in Park City. I figure it costs about $11 more per tank vs the hybrid. It is so much more fun than my hybrid for just the price of lunch to fill up. Even with the huge snow year, I never had to put chains on the stock Conti tires all winter.

Just did a trip to Canada and back 430 miles each way got 31.4 . With cruise set at 75 mpg at 1900 rpm it sits at 29.6mpg for the 305 miles thru Maine. 50 mph roads on both ends of the trip bring the mpg up.

I’m averaging 32.4mpg since I received my Maverick on 12/1/23. I have 9500 miles on it, driving 150-175 miles per day, all interstate. Set cruise 74 mph. I have seen some mpg above 35mpg when I travel 2 lane roads with cruise set at 58 mph. I’m very pleased. Most of my travel exceeds 40-50 miles per trip, I don’t drive much in the city as we are very rural.

I almost always drive in eco mode. Usually rural roads 40-55 I average 27-29. On highway trips at 70 I usually get just over 30 maybe 31. A few trips at steady pace I can hit 33 for hundreds of miles but that is rare. I never get anynear near as low as 22 but I don't drive all day at 30 in the city.

If I'm driving back and forth to work, which is a short distance, I'm in the 18mpg range. On the highway I've average 29mpg. My lifetime average for all miles driven so far is 24.5mpg. I'm happy with that. :)

On edit: My displayed mpg average is higher than what's displayed on both my wife's Jeep Renegade and my mom's Subaru Crosstrek, so that's impressive to me.

Seven months and 4,353 miles. I work from home, so I last put gas in it on January 5 and needed just 10.91 gallons. Since the holiday travel season, I'm averaging one tank of gas every month. I expect that to go up soon as we hit the spring camping season with scouts.

29.37 best mpg
24.27 avg mpg
19.55 worst mpg

Worst MPG was towing a trailer across the state. Best mpg was the trip up to get the trailer when I already installed my bed cover.

28-29 according to the dash readout, which is probably 1-2 mpg optimistic.

I'm barely half a tank in but it's good to see peoples averages. I won't say what I'm getting so far because it just keeps going up and half a tank is a poor statistic.

It seems like its a little more efficient than the old taurus which was something like 22 in town 32ish highway, but won't be as light as the fusion (which was getting over 30/40 thanks to its little tractor sounding engine and eager 150hp)

Im glad the awd or tow package arent a hindrance at least. Ive watched the little awd graphic a bit and it seems like most of the time except quick launches it's still mostly front drive anyway

Hey, I just ordered a 2024 Maverick with the 2.0 EcoBoost with AWD and the 4K Tow Package. I did a few months of research on the truck, but I still feel like there are some Grey areas when it comes to the real world MPG. I'm set on this truck, but I was wondering what MPG people were getting with the 2.0L EcoBoost so I have an idea when the truck arrives. I'll be happy to take numbers from people with 2022 and 2023 model years with similar packages. Thank you so much for any information you can provide!!!
26.5 for the winter.

I am not pleased with my MY24 XLT AWD 4K Tow. Ford dealers can find "no problem" I can guarantee it is not my driving/weather/fuel. My MY23 XLT AWD w/o 4k tow would average in the 30s hwy and 25's cty. I am averageing under 17 MPG. I love everything else about the truck.
