What MPG Mileage Are You Getting?

XL Hybrid, Las Vegas
I took delivery November 2nd, when the weather was nice, 60's 70's
I saw 40+ MPG, but then it got cold
Now with Short trips (2-3 miles) and weather in the 30's, its ~ 36MPG overall.
The Engine seems to come on to provide heat right away

I'm curious as to how it will do in the hot summer months here in Vegas
10 yeas ago I had a Prius and it did not like 115 degree heat at all.

Trip meter reports 41mpg average. Many trips under 5 miles. Trying all sorts of tricks but really don’t see much change in average. I blame congestion as reason why I can’t do more hyper mileage tricks. During the high of covid was getting 30mpg in my fullsized chevy Silverado and 50+ in my aged Prius. Now Prius is very aged and gets less than the Maverick in mpg.

We took delivery in April '22. Fuel mileage has gone way down since there started to be snow on the ground; since we have snow tires on our other car, we haven't driven it much since early November. Trip meter currently sitting at 49.8mpg overall after 4700 miles. Uncharacteristically warm yesterday (mid-30's) so we took it to the in-laws house - got 79.6mpg on the ~25 mile (slightly downhill, only ~3 miles on the highway) drive back.

I was getting 40.7 for the first year of so. I've had my Lariat for about 1 year and a half. But recently the MPG dropped to 37. I'm a little sad about that. I used to be able to eek 55+ out of it routinely, but now the most I see is maybe 42. So my current answer is:
37 MPG at 8000 miles
