yes, at this point if I don't get my maverick by end of March, I am out too and would buy Toyota instead. or I might as well wait for F-150 Lighting while I have my Toyota car instead. So much for owning Ford for the first time.

My dealer said March at earliest. I’m wondering if the 2023’s will will have same problem. If I wait till March I’m only 6 mo’s from a 23 and my 22 will be almost a yr old

Well hell that’s awesome! Congrats. I ordered mine 9/6. Im driving myself nuts waiting for this thing because I need a car before my other one craps the bed. Plus I’d like to drive it up North for Christmas! I gotta stop reading these forums 😂
Ha. I ordered my ultimate on 6/18. Got my build date for week of 11/29. Now hopefully it won’t get pushed back!!

Hybrid Lariat Lux here and I only ordered this week. I guess I'll be waiting a while.

I was notified about the spray in bedliner by my dealer last Friday. We modified the build to remove it. It's something I can get post delivery.

Received list this AM.

Be advised a Spray in Bedliner included in a package is not affected by the "Bedliner 3%"... If you can live without one of these items, have it removed to help expedite your order. Note that each dealer is affected differently.

Admin update with explanation:

The percentages mean how many Ford can build with that item / option. Currently for example, Hybrid engine says 40% -- so the maximum Ford will schedule this week will be 40% Hybrid Mavericks. The remaining 60% scheduled will be EcoBoost Mavericks.

I ordered my XLT hybrid, Area 51, trifold cover, spray in bed liner, trailer hitch, full size spare on 10/13/21. I specifically asked my sales person if those options would delay the order and he said no. Of course I'd like to see it scheduled soon but I'm really in no rush. I just hope Ford will be able to build it :) I'm hoping for May lol

Idk how accurate these are as well since I was scheduled a few weeks ago when spray in bedlinder was at 0% and yet I was still scheduled and it was standalone as well and not part of a package. So don’t fret too much over this list. You never know , you may be scheduled regardless of this list.

If Ford comes out with their 2023 details prior to lots of deliverys for 2022, I think many people will be looking at what the new offerings/prices are especially if they can wait.

Explanation of constraint %

The percentages mean how many Ford can build with that item / option. Currently for example, Hybrid engine says 40% -- so the maximum Ford will schedule this week will be 40% Hybrid Mavericks. The remaining 60% scheduled will be EcoBoost Mavericks.
So if they use up all the 3% items and have only used up 30% of the 40% Hybrid catagory they can build the 10% remaining for those who were sharp enough to cancel ALL the 3%?

So 3% of orders scheduled will have that option on it. So basically, take it off your order unless you want to selected last.
I don't dispute what Tim's saying; if you have a tightly constrained option, it will certainly increase the odds your build will be much delayed.

But those of you inclined to multiply the percentages of all your options are oversimplifying the problem.

What's needed to calculate your odds, and info that we don't have access to, is what percentage of orders specify each option.

For example if Ford is constrained to 3% of builds with hard folding tonneau's, but only 3% of orders include them, there's no negative impact to your odds if your order includes one.

So the math is a lot more complicated and requires data that we just don't have. You can't calculate your odds.

But you can certainly delete any options that are easily installed yourself or by the dealer and that will absolutely improve your chances; you just won't know by how much.
