Adaptive cruise control is worth every last penny, even if you have to add it aftermarket and hack your truck.

I bought the Lariat trim specifically for ACC and lane centering.

I've found that it takes a lot of the aggravation out of driving on the highway. 100% worth it in rush hour.
I'm with you on that one & if you ever have any issues with the system and you did the DIY ACC, I don't think any dealer will touch it.

Weird. I was all set to start going through IPMA changes (as compared to the 3+ varieties we have throughout this thread)... but then I saw one line and thought I'd start with the simplest...

BdyCM 726 04 06 - OP has it changed from 6025 to 9025 - yet no other ABs have noted this change. So I went back to 6025. It cleared my PreCollision Assist error, IPMA DTC and ABS DTC... and ACC works!!!

To reiterate - do not change 726 04 06, the only change for BdyCM should be:
BdyCM 726 04 05 xxxx xxxx 90 (at least for my 2023 XL)

Basically, I think starting with the OP ForScan coding is no longer the way to go. Start with ltmoto / Pg17 and go from there.

I got comfortable enough with ForScan and comparing ABDs to try and pare down unnecessary code changes (seems better to retain factory when possible to me), similar to your reduced spreadsheet list of changes. Using the compare tool, I saw some lines that were listed in the OP or ltmoto and the code was the same from a 2022 XL, my '23 XL, and a '23 Lariat w/ ACC, so they could be left unchanged.

Sometimes I lost something - like TSR or lane centering and went back line by line to figure out the trigger. This list may help some people enable Evasive Steering option in Pre Collision Assist (needs radar).

Anyways, the few notes may help someone troubleshoot, and here is a 2023 hybrid XL w/ CP360 changes that enable ACC with lane centering, TSR (may require one other step), and evasive steering in PCA:

Thanks for all the input in this thread, but everyone who successfully gets this working - please share your code changes to help someone out with a similar build. I'll add some notes about the XL grill removal at some point - nevermind - reading it again, the OP is good - just to clarify, remove 4x 10mm bolts and two push pins for the air intake cover, leave the 7mm bolts in.

It sure would be nice if the OP was around. Could make some useful changes to the original post.

@mods - anyway to attach pdf to OP?

Attached is a pdf of the OP, added a couple of my notes in spots I thought helpful, and ltmoto / pg 17 coding and my coding at end of document. Easy to print or have displayed on a screen while doing the work.

As someone advised, I had done the steering wheel switch swap one evening (no need to remove wheel) and took a full day for the bumper removal work and wiring to the point I could reinstall the bumper. Next day finished in-cab IPMA wiring, then started ForScan.

Figure a full day + 1-2 1/2 days unless you're fast (my first full bumper removal)

Well worth it, as I saw ACC being a $10k option when building a Mav.

Looking to do this on my '24 Hybrid. Where are all of you guys buying the parts from? Seems like my local dealer prices are significantly higher than the OP pricing. Is there anywhere online that is closer to the original post?

Spend some time googling the part numbers. Pretty sure I got a 10% coupon here with email sign up
https://www.fordpartspros.com/

and used them for the expensive parts, but some of the smaller ones raised shipping by a lot, so I ordered those elsewhere.

This information is excellent!

Will the different Ford radars have a difference? Because, for example, the radar of a Focus is the same but the code is different. (And it's much cheaper)

Earlier in the thread, someone had trouble with a non-maverick CCM even though it is the same hardware. Perhaps there is some preloaded firmware which is specific to the model it is meant for.

I am going through this right now adding the ACC and Lane Centering to my truck.

I bought a used radar unit (mine was from a 2022 Edge) that an earlier post said was compatible, but I found out the hard way different ACC units made for other vehicles have different calibrations that cannot be changed, at least with Forscan or other tools available to us. So I ended up buying a second new unit.

The only ACC radar unit that is compatible is a Maverick-specific unit. Don't make my mistake and buy two of them...

This is the one I ordered for my 2023:

NZ6Z-9E731-ASensor$415.39

Do your homework and make sure it is the correct one for your model year.

Received call from Dealer. About 5 hours labor and $500 dollars in parts to install adaptive cruise control in my 2023 lariat hybrid. Labor cost suggested is about $700.

Dealer will prorate the labor if I pay for parts.

I will get a call once they have all the parts in.

Will post again after install and verification testing of the adaptive cruise control with stop and go.

fingers crossed
I had almost exact similar experience. They lied. Service department wanted nearly $2,500.
