I have a 23 Lariat 4K AWD EB and added the drive mode module and eng start/stop mod when I first got the truck. Added a wire tap / fuse at the inside box and it is fine but the one that came with the drive mod module was bad so I bought a few. Since then I have added a couple of others on the main fuse panel but always used tap ons with an additional fuse for my stuff.
Module issue - it works fine when in the vehicle and pushing the start button...goes into eco mode every time. Using the remote keyfob it does not go into eco mode correctly. I have tried number settings and delays with the module but never found a combination that works with both keystart and remote keyfob. I finally gave up trying. Still like the feature but have to remember to change to ECO if I remote sart it. I always drive in ECO..even normal and sport have much more initial pickup than I really need but I also have the lower gear ratio with 4K which may be why. Full throttle in ECO mode seems to provide full power and pickup anyway.

Maybe instead instead of triggering the button push routine off the engine start it needs to trigger off the brake push & knob turn? I have never remote started then readied drive mode so I am not familiar with how ready to drive is activated if ice is already activated???
I will watch tomorrow and see when it automatically drops back to standard. I think it might drop back when I put it into park or maybe it's when I exit vehicle.

Slippery mode is better than Eco and one less tap.

This is because the sequence cannot be started until the instrument cluster is On, which doesn’t happen until Mav is ‘fully’ started.
My solution is the only I know of that can handle this:
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...uto-start-stop-default-to-a-drive-mode.31556/
Others have asked, but sorry, I do not make these to sell.

Edit see @Darnon post below. That will work. I do talk about that in my solution, the problem is getting a fuse tap that fits in #6.

Or just use Fuse 6 with the MyMavMode.
Yes, I forgot. I updated my post above. I do talk about that in my solution, just hard to find taps for that #6.

My power for my bought module is tapped into fuse#6 but that didn't solve my issues.

Interesting. I had tested mine #6 and it only had power when the Mav was fully started. Maybe you put the tap in reversed? That is the only thing I. can think of.

You built Mabcim's module, or are you using MyMavMode?

Are you positive you are tapped into fuse six, with the tap in the correct configuration?

An EcoBoost owner mentioned that these settings work without a problem for MyMavMode:

"OP is set down to 0.1, the CL is still 0.4 and the LOP is 5 and yes the remote start works also! So remotely starting then getting in truck and pushing On button with or without foot on the brake, it goes to Eco Mode too. So anything works going to Eco Mode other than when you push start to On then put your foot on the brake and push the start button again, it will go to Normal mode only."

It would appear that the EcoBoost models turn off the power to fuse six and then turn it back on again when you're going from accessory to on mode using the push button/key.

Either way, try OP 0.1, CL 0.4, and loops 5.

I was thinking of buying this module on EBay but decided I didn't want to mess with factory wiring. I did add a Garmin dash cam recently but that is just two fuse taps, no cutting into factory wiring.
I'm used to hitting the steering wheel ok button twice for vehicle ready and seat belts (I know they time out eventually anyway) So having to hit the mode button a few times to get to Eco is no biggie. YMMV.
Yup. I've turned into a trained monkey too.

I use the eco mode a lot so each time I press the start button I just quickly press the drive mode button 4 times and I am all set. You don't have to wait for the screen to change, It will.
For the OP: follow this advise

While we're sort of on the topic, is there a way to get rid of the seatbelt popup after startup?

I've got an FX4 so I still need to enable Eco with forscan, but after that this should work? This doesn't disable selecting any modes?
As long as you can manually cycle through the modes with the console mode button this should work. Depending on how many button presses it takes to get ot eco mode, you may need a different count programed . My XLT takes 4.

The seller will program it for whatever you need.
