Keep hoping someone will come up with a decent brush guard as I live in the MO Ozarks which means its not IF you hit a deer but WHEN. I have brush guards on all my vehicles except the Maverick so I don't drive it after dark until the after market world catches up with the Maverick. I would guess your insurance is into it for around $5k.Last night on the way back from work I hit a six point buck. He jumped the ditch and I caught his back end with the front drivers side of my maverick. I’ve had the maverick 11 months and put on 27,000 miles. I plan to take to a Ford approved collision center. Let me know if you have any other tips, I have submitted a claim to my insurance and am waiting to hear back. I’ve heard parts take awhile to receive and are expensive. Any guesses on what this is going to cost to repair? I’m expecting a new bumper and headlight at minimum. The gap between the hood and fender also have me concerned there could be more.

Or a lot OF BUCKSAbount $5500.
Either way, it's going to be a lot of DOE...
I swear by the deer whistles too. I haven't had any deer jump in front of me unless they were being chased by a horny buck. In fact the deer on the side of the road look up at my truck and I see their eyes before I see their body and have time to slow down just in case. I think they look good on the front bumper.I live in Deep East Texas and deer are plentiful. I've hit more than my fair share of deer. I found some "Deer Whistles" at Walmart. They are small, inconspicuous and easy to install. Have not had any deer jump out in front of any of my vehicles once these were installed. Cost was around $5.00 and took minutes to install. I highly recommend them! I ordered my new Maverick in September, 2022 and still waiting on delivery. Yea, almost 15 months. That's crazy!
Your hood doesn't have the gap his has - it will be far more significant.Mine was similar bumper cover grille + shutters behind grill & headlight wasn’t known until they took off fender tabs were broken and it was cheaper to get new fender than small refinishing $4500-ish

There really isn't a great way to get a brush or bull bar on the front of a Maverick. It's a whole lot of plastic and not great front sub-frame to try and hook up to.Keep hoping someone will come up with a decent brush guard as I live in the MO Ozarks which means its not IF you hit a deer but WHEN. How do you keep them working? The ones I've seen get plugged with bugs or snow/ice depending on the season.I swear by the deer whistles too.
