After 3 months of owning my third Maverick I was rear ended at a stoplight. There have been quite a few threads showing similar damage but I thought I would give you the breakdown in costs I was given. The little truck did its job and I had zero pain or soreness.
First, the damage.
I hope all of this is insightful to someone.
First, the damage.
- It has a small softball sized dent in the rear bumper. Scratches are honestly minimal, but it is a Lobo so paint would be required.
- The frame experienced bending right at the flex point.
- Parts = $16,900
- Labor = $8,275
- Material = $750
- Total costs = $25,925 + $1050 just because
- Totaled
- Insurance payout value = $42125
I hope all of this is insightful to someone.
