Glad it worked for you!
This was my first experience with forescan, I was uncomfortable enough with the plain English changes, wouldn't have been comfortable making them numerically in the table. Thanks again!

Jerrisn - quick stupid question what model forescanner did you use and do you HAVE to plug it into a laptop (can't do it all via forescanner) to see graphics & make initial changes u posted ? Seems like a very cool feature. Thanks -

Glad it worked for you!

While there are other methods shared on this forum, I was initially hesitant about them due to uncertainty about what codes actually do. This method appears to be quick and straightforward. I've noticed some other settings in the menu that could be useful, but I'm quite cautious about modifying anything related to the powertrain or modes. I'd rather not risk it, considering compatibility uncertainties. Fortunately, the settings for TSR are quite basic and should pose no concern. It's a bit puzzling why Ford didn't enable this feature for all their vehicles, given the many other safety features they activate. TSR has proven to be extremely useful in keeping track of posted speed limits when I miss a sign. It feels like this should be a standard feature in all Ford vehicles with the camera.

Thanks for sharing your experience!
Thanks for doing this and posting your work. Very helpful. I agree 100% with your puzzlement over why Ford (and for that matter, every manufacturer) doesn't have this feature for all of their camera vehicles. Seems like a simple adjustment that could benefit many and potentially save lives and suffering.

Only the Lariat has the on board equipment for adaptive cc. There’s an extra camera behind the grill that allows for adaptive cc. Without that camera, models other than the Lariat can’t simply enable adaptive cc through forscan.
It's a radar emitter/receiver, not camera-based.

I tried to enable TSR last year following the methods provided in the other threads. I did get it to appear in the menus, but it never worked so I reverted back. Reading your post and seeing that they have added the options to the not AS BUILT modules, I attempted it again following your instructions. I can confirm that it works for a 22 XL Hybrid. Thanks!

I used the OBDLink EX, which plugs into a laptop, in conjunction with the FORScan software for the programming. The OBDLink EX may be a bit pricier than some of the cheaper devices on Amazon, but it offers more functionality. Unlike some budget options that require switching from high to low speed, this one appears not to need that. The software costs around $12 per year or you can opt for a two-month free trial.

I also have an OBDLink MX+ that I previously used for my 2015 Chevy Volt. I used it to regularly monitor the voltage of all 96 individual battery cells to ensure there were no battery issues. This model is priced around $150. My hope is that eventually, I'll be able to use it to check each battery cell in the Maverick. It's a Bluetooth model, but it won't work for reprogramming the Maverick. For that purpose, you'll still need the OBDLink EX with a USB cable, and the good news is that this model is currently available for less than $60. If you sign up for the newsletter, they will send you a 10% coupon to use as a discount, so it takes it to like $53.

Here are the links to both the OBDLink EX and the FORScan software. Good luck with your programming!

I'm glad it was successful for you. It's a valuable feature to have, and it would have been great if Ford had enabled it on all trim models by default.

I have a USB/OBD cable that I had used on my 2022 to make these changes. I went out to make the changes to my newly acquired 23 hybrid and the version of forscan wouldn’t recognize the vehicle. I updated to the latest version of forscan, and it wouldn’t allow me to use my older USB/OBD cable, the message said my old cable was not supported anymore. It was a few years old and had a switch for selecting MS/HS Can. I got out my Bluetooth MX+ and it allowed me to connect and make the changes you mentioned above.
Like you, I thought you couldn’t make changes with the Bluetooth adapter, but now it does seem possible.

That's intriguing. I didn't expect the MX+ to function, given it's a Bluetooth device. How did you pair the MX+ and FORScan with your Maverick? Did you use a Bluetooth-enabled laptop?

yes, a Bluetooth windows laptop. Paired it in control panel, then forscan found it on its own.
Be careful, I had previously paired it to my phone. My first attempt at pairing failed because the dongle connected to the phone. I had to turn off BT on the phone, then pair to the laptop.

I'll have to give it a try. I purchased the OBDLink EX with the Maverick in mind, but knowing that the OBDLink MX+ can work is valuable information. It could have saved me $50. Thanks for sharing the info.

I wonder if the dealer will activate it. I'll ask the next time I am in for service.

I would be curious to know as well. I would assume labor would be involved though.

I am new at this message board and as a maverick owner. I have an XL hybrid and would like to try this also, your way seems much easier to attempt and to put back. I know I need to buy a cable, but how do you get the program from Ford?

You don't get it from Ford, it is a 3rd party application. You can download and license it from here:
