The upshot us Californians have is that here we get a sizeable extension on the battery and hybrid components warranty. Fords normal warranty on the battery and hybrid system for example just meets federal minimums at 8 yrs/100k miles. In California though, Ford is required to extend the coverage of the battery, battery control module, and hybrid control unit out to 10 years/150k miles. Pretty massive improvement IMO.I am also in socal and was getting a pretty awful warranty offer as well. Politely declined and contacted Granger. If you have access to out of state address Granger may be able to help out. I recommend you contact them.
Outside of that, California screws us on registration because they still consider ANY "truck" a "commercial vehicle", LMAO. So there's definitely some ups and downs.
