I second that... with a disclaimer...

That depends on who installs the drop in bed liner. Mine was installed by the dealer and they did cover up the cabbies, the light, outlet and most of the tie-down cleats. When I complained, they stated something about the Ford manual, but I proved them wrong. They did refund the cost of it, including the labor, and installed it right for the most part for free....

You are right the bed liner is designed to work with all trim levels. The cut-outs and holes are marked on the back of the liner and it is the responsibility of the installer to cut out the ones needed for the vehicle.
As far as cubbies are concerned:

• XL no cubbies = no cutouts
• XLT one cubby = one cutout (passenger side)
• Lux package = two cutouts (one for the cubby and one for the light and power outlet)

In my case, I have an XLT where I installed a second cubby on the driver side so I cut out both cubie holes.

It is a pain when a dealer screws up but I an glad your dealer made it right.

What I wanted to know was how to turn on the: the secret setting for "Police Dark Mode" and the secret setting for "Ambulance Mode"?

You have indicated that the Maverick has these two secret modes but you kept it secret as how to use them.

NEITHER of these modes are covered in the manual, so I suspect that IF they actually do exist, it would have to be done through ForeScan or similar tool.

to change drive modes you can cycle very quickly through the modes. As an example to put my 23 into Eco mode I can click 4 times real quick and it's there. No need to wait for the next mode to come up.

I’m positive I saw police mode somewhere on Forscan. I didn’t use it though

1. You are not to tow anything until you drive the truck 1000 miles.
2. The manual release for the fuel door is over the driver's side rear wheel
3. For best performance, Ford recommends using a high-octane fuel with an octane level of 91 or higher.
4. The oil in your truck coming from the factory is "slime" green.
5. Your truck has a secret setting for "Police Dark Mode".
6. Your truck has a secret setting for "Ambulance Mode".
7. If your infotainment screen freezes, hold down the volume and skip forward button at the same time for 5 seconds and it will reset the screen.
8. The rear head rests block about 40% of your rear vision via the rear-view mirror. Remove them for a much better rear view.
9. There is no light in the glove compartment, but the passenger side overhead light will illuminate the interior of the glove box just fine.
10. The mirror visors have lights.

Bonus:

- The rear cubby storage divider insert can be removed leaving enough space to store your
hitch shank and ball mount. Just wrap them in foam or a towel to keep them from rattling.

Only the Lariat mirror visors have lights.
