Join the club. Probably need to start a thread on how many of us have lost our Mavericks. Seems the women just take them away from us and we are left to fend for ourselves.

My wife hates the Maverick because 1) she's afraid of anything related to new technology and 2) the short handle on the door. She said it feels like she's shaking hands with the car door.

I loved the 650 miles I got on my last tank. Using 87 mind you.

Pretty sure the high octane recommendation is for the EcoBoost engine only.

1. You are not to tow anything until you drive the truck 1000 miles.
2. The manual release for the fuel door is over the driver's side rear wheel
3. For best performance, Ford recommends using a high-octane fuel with an octane level of 91 or higher.
4. The oil in your truck coming from the factory is "slime" green.
5. Your truck has a secret setting for "Police Dark Mode".
6. Your truck has a secret setting for "Ambulance Mode".
7. If your infotainment screen freezes, hold down the volume and skip forward button at the same time for 5 seconds and it will reset the screen.
8. The rear head rests block about 40% of your rear vision via the rear-view mirror. Remove them for a much better rear view.
9. There is no light in the glove compartment, but the passenger side overhead light will illuminate the interior of the glove box just fine.
10. The mirror visors have lights.

Bonus:

- The rear cubby storage divider insert can be removed leaving enough space to store your
hitch shank and ball mount. Just wrap them in foam or a towel to keep them from rattling.

I just picked up my 23 Mav and I got a printed manual. My dealer was even nice enough to give me a cloth cover for it.

All I’ve ever put in is PREMIUM @ $50 and I get 360 miles per tank.. I always drive in Sport mode!

As far as the cubby in the rear, you can adjust the tray so you don’t loose it when you insert something taller. Simply pull it out, and flip it up and replace the cover per pictures:

I stand corrected.read the manual again,it states limit towing speed to 70 mph for the first 500 miles,after...waiting 1000 miles to start towing.
