What did you drive before the Maverick?

When I heard about the Maverick in October of ‘21 I was rolling around in the only BMW I’ve ever driven. It was a 2015 328i. Great car. Sold it for what I bought it for! I figured by the latest I’d have the Maverick by spring of ‘22. I was WRONG

Used to have a daily and "fun" car until covid. Now I drive much less frequently and down to one vehicle for now, not including GF's. Had a '15 Edge Sport and '13 BMW 335 6 speed manual. Buyer of the BMW gave it to his high school son...lucky kid.

2016 Mazda CX-9. Blown engine at 49K miles in early August '21, found out about the Maverick while researching replacements. Even though engine was covered under factory 5/60k warranty, I didn't trust it long-term and wasn't willing to buy another engine later at my own cost.

Ordered a FE ecoboost AWD 8/25/21, second order 12/10/21 from a different dealer - FE had closed by that point, plus I really wanted Cactus Grey. And so I have it.

BTW all new paint is thin, check out the stone chips on my Mazda when I sold it with 58K. The silver painted plastic has water spots, but all the black you see in the silver is missing paint.

I have a 95 YJ also it has the 4.0 manual trans with factory AC go figure. The Mav is my wife's truck we had a 2014 Escape s 2.5 lt that she used as a truck so it works perfect for us.when I go from the heated seats of the Mav to my jeep I feel like I am driving a 10 wheel dump truck. never will sell it

Mines a 4.0 5 speed also, new frame in 2015 my tub is rotted real bad though, hard to find a decent tub in Maine, still looking for one. I may have to road trip south to find one

As a kid growing up in Brazil, the 914 was THE hot car that was actually available for sale. I developed a life-long lust for one of them, but as of yet have not "consummated" a deal... Almost bought a reddish-orange one a few years back, but the engine turned out to be in pretty bad shape. Someday...!

I leased a 2021 Toyota Tacoma SR5 and kept it until the halfway point of my three year lease. I then turned it in at my local Toyota dealership and they gave me a stellar offer I couldn't refuse. The truck new was around $33,000 but they offered me $32,000 and change. The difference between the purchase price and the price offer I got as an equity check a couple of weeks later. This was used to cover half of my down payment on my Maverick. As a result, I didn't have to put a whole lot of money down on my Maverick at all. I don't regret it in the slightest.

Side note: This was done during the extreme price hikes of used vehicles in the beginning and middle of last year. This was a rare occasion where someone turns in a lease and actually makes money off of it instead of losing it. And it helped that it was a Tacoma which has always held its value, even pre-COVID and last year's price hikes.

My maverick now has a production date of april 15th and a vin.

Currently driving this 6 speed manual 2020 elantra i bought new in 2019. I cannot wait to get my maverick. Im a huge minitrucker and also have an old s10.

This was my previous ride before the #fordmaverick. Fuel savings alone almost worth the price. Loved the #nissan #pathfinder after having it for a decade but it was time to move on.

Had my Maverick since Dec 2021, 32,000 km so far, and it's been great! Here I am doing some ice fishing a few weeks ago.
