I ordered Lariat Lux because I was driving a 19 year old car, and really wanted ACC, Lane centering and Pushbutton.

Currently got lucky with an XL, but I think those features justify the price difference. About 5K sticker difference between the XL I got and the Lariat Lux I ordered. ( to be fair, the XL has 4k and AWD, which are nice but not a need for me )

I'm not even sure ACC and Lane Centering are available on the Super Duty? They weren't the last time I looked
go to ford build and price - the platinum has acc and more

Yup just found that.

Unfortunately I can't justify almost $80,000 for a Super Duty, especially when I'd still need a cheap to drive vehicle for general daily driving.

The upgraded sound system is mediocre at best. I wouldn't be surprised if the speakers are the same as stock and they just add two more.
I can echo. I feel like using B&O in Maverick is a lose-lose situation. For Ford/Maverick, an low-cost vehicle carry an luxury name item without the real thing inside, it's like a small kid wear a crappy Armani suit. Better to take a lesser brand such as JBL/Bose but with a good sound quality. For B&O, it should only stay with some special brands like Porsche or Volvo for matching image.

Overall, I'm questioning my decision to go with the Lariat Lux. The refinement is just not there on this vehicle and it's very clear that Ford used people like me to subsidize the $20,000 hybrid.

We have ACC and lane centering on our Bronco Sport Badlands, love it. I'm assuming the ACC will be the same on the Maverick but I love the feature of setting the cruise and when you get to a stretch of road with a lower speed limit it will automatically adjust your speed. It's something you can enable manually but it saves my butt on some of the speed trap roads around here.

I think speed limit recognition requires some Forscan changes to get it to work.

So I know I have a while to decide, but I'm curious how those here with the Lariat Lux decided the added features were worth it.

My wife's van has keyless entry/push button start and I love it. I can get that without going the Lux route and save some money. What I don't know about is the Adaptive cruise and lane centering.

Fanciest option I've ever had on ANY vehicle that was mine was regular old cruise control. I'v never had lane keep assist, or adaptive cruise, or the sign recognition system. My wife's van desnt even have that stuff.

So those that bought the Lariat Lux, was it stuff you had previously? Did you test drive either a Maverick with it or another vehicle with a comparable system? Or did you just say screw it I want the fancy stuff and order/buy it without ever having used it?

I don't know anyone with any of that stuff so when it's time to order I'm considering going to my local Ford dealership and having them let me test drive something with the Ford system to see if it's worth it to me. I drive 70 miles on the highway Monday through Friday for work so it's definitely a system I'd use, just not sure if I feel like it's worth the added cost.
My wifes Subaru outback has had adaptive cruise (for the last 10 years.) Once you have it, you know it is the safest most convenient way to cruise. Also adaptive cruise mean auto braking which is another good safety feature.
