I was wonder if one could get a switch from an Escape (or Bronco Sport) that has fogs. The center of the dial presses. Just not sure if that is a separate connection, like what you did.

My wire harness was just long enough. I bought the switch off the Ford escape with the fog in the center but found out it needs forscan to make it work. That is if its even in the software. I dont have access to it so right now it's an extra switch to the right.

yeah, I agree honestly I don’t love the rubber molding. Hopefully someone comes out with a plastic insert that matches the bumper at some point.

Looks great otherwise, I'm sure they'll replace that with something more factory looking eventually.

1 on each side you can. I forget what thread in here but someone posted a pic of a fx4 with fog lights next to the tow hooks

Saw a few threads on here inquiring about fog lights so I thought I’d share mine. I installed diode dynamics fog lights and driving lights this past weekend using jjc mounts. The lights are ss3 sport SAE approved fog lights and driving lights. I opted to not remove the entire cutout on the bumper, and only cut what was necessary to clear the lights. The yellow lights are a wide pattern with a sharp cutoff meant to light up the sides of the road close to the truck. White driving lights are meant to supplement your high beams.

Where did you connect to power the fog lamps? Under hood fuse box?

Right now they’re connected to the battery using the diode dynamics wiring harnesses which they sell with the lights. Eventually I went to get rid of that and connect to the fuse box or figure out where I can pull power from the factory harness

Thanks for the info. I have a hybrid so there’s no battery to hook up in the engine bay.

If you do get these lights I’d pass on the wiring harnesses and make your own. They weren’t long enough either.

You could pull power off of one of the lugs from the power wires to the underhood junction box.

There is a blank on either sideof hooks, about 4" wide and 5 1/2" tall.

You could pull power off of one of the lugs from the power wires to the underhood junction box.

Sounds like something to look into. Hopefully, it’s as easy as hooking up to the battery. Thanks!
