I think it’s stupid that Ford didn’t put their ambient lighting in the center where you really need it and I noticed it on my lariat. That came out great but don’t know if the juice is worth the squeeze.

I just bought an R-pod 178 and it appears you have something similar. What kind of mileage do you get with that, and are there any problems with towing in general.

Trailer brake controller doesn’t seem to work properly. When the controller is pinched the trailer brakes work good, but even with the gain turned up the trailer brake controller the trailer brakes were cold and seems the truck does the all the stopping. Not sure if this is part of the problem...

Same with my truck. I have the Lariat FX4 and 4K Tow pkg. Plugging into my small boat trailer and my utility trailer, which are both 4 pin the turn signals and brake lights work but the running lights do not. My build was 2/2/23. Works OK for daylight runs for the time being.

Follow up. My dealer had it ready for me 2/22/23. Just in time for the big snow we’re having.

Ordered January 18, 2022. Fully loaded Lariat 2.0 EB, headed for WA, eta 2/28-3/2. I think the longest part of the wait is now because I‘m on the home stretch after more than a year. I got a chuckle out of the person that said it was a long wait, and he just ordered in September 😊.
