So now that I'm not getting a Maverick, I'm gonna get myself into a Hyundai Santa Cruz. Your thoughts are always welcome 🤷‍♂️
So since there's no Hybrid Santa Cruz, why not convert to a 2.0EB?

I'll again say, if Ford really does have a glut of hybrid orders they truly cannot build and nowhere near the EB orders they can build, wouldn't it make sense for them to open a brief window for dealers to change some hybrids to EB IF that's what the customer wanted? I mean, I won't, I want and need my hybrid, but some would and there seems to be zero downside for Ford to allow it.

I probably have too much faith in Ford but personally I think if Ford had a number in mind that they could build they could have shut off the orders when that number was reached. And they did shut off the hybrid orders early. So, I am not convinced that they are not going to be able to build most of those hybrids. Only time will show of course.

Hey guys!
I've got some shitty news... My sales rep at my local Ford was being a bit evasive over the phone so I went in person to see if he had any updates on my order, AND BOY DID HE!!!! Ford is allocating only a percent of all orders PER DEALER, and a tiny amount of those produced ordered are going to be hybrids. Here's where I got pissed:
If your order is not one of the above mentioned orders, your "Bumped" to next year's order lot!!!! So they're canceling your 2023 order and will recreate that order for next year, when the order banks open. I wasn't told this automatically, and basically had to pry that info from my dealer's sales rep. If your still waiting, GO ASK!!

So now that I'm not getting a Maverick, I'm gonna get myself into a Hyundai Santa Cruz. Your thoughts are always welcome 🤷‍♂️
After spending time reading these forum posts, you are going to accept without question what the dealer's sales rep told you.

Just a comment, won’t 22 hybrid roll overs take up most of the 23 hybrid builds? And any new 23 hybrids will be behind those rollers from 22.

Generally. But it depends on the dealer. My dealer had no hybrid rollovers I am aware of whereas others had a ton.

If I remember the text of that bulletin, they said no price protection. There was no mention of rollovers yes or no. I doubt very, very much that Ford will just cancel an order, they will roll it over in some fashion. Hopefully using a better system than they did this year.
For all 23 vehicles, when talking about production limitations/order banks closing, Ford is saying that they are not intending on giving any "incentive" for unscheduled retail orders that need to move to the next MY. They gave out some big incentives for 22 -> 23, but it doesn't look like they will be continuing to do that in the future.

No word on whether you the dealer will need to start over and reenter a 24 order. Or if they will automatically transition in some fashion. (Since there will be no rollover incentives....my assumption is that fresh 24 orders will need to be entered..... but maybe they'll still do an automatic rollover and give priority to these orders??)

When did subject's which actually speaks to what is in the post die? A screaming title that doesn't speak to the subject matter... And then OP freaks out to tell us what we already know (mostly) and isn't true (for the rest).

I think this post deserves a...

Ford notified dealers no price protection and no rollovers 23 to 24. Dealers did not inform buyers. Ford allowed dealers to place more orders than they could possibly manufacture for 23.
I predict Ford will provide price protection and rollovers 23 to 24. We'll know in the next 11 months.
Just got off phone w/Ford nothing changed on my 2 ecoboost fwd, xlt's. They have been converted from 2022 January orders to 2023. She said to have dealer put to priority 99 and to make sure the "transition offers" that expire January 23rd are attached to deals @ dealer so the remain intact. Dealer keeps telling me that they do not(or cant) change the priority codes. Ford said if they don't change contact ford rep & if still doesn't happen contact Ford & will go up the chain w/them to get resolved. Makes no sense, Ford can see that they are rollovers in their system and it should be handled with them & dealer. Working on it.

You might want to talk to Long Lewis again. Mine is a 2022 rolllover. It hasn't been fun waiting over a year now. Supposedly, I have an build of Jan 23. I will be displeased to see 2023 orders that just placed to bump me. Ford is seriously deficient in this process.

2022 XLT Hybrid order rolled over plus now a 2023 XLT ordered during the last open window.

See, that's the question I have. Was the order count they gave me for Long-Lewis or that Long-Lewis? I'm assuming you used Hoover? I used Prattville.

Is yours a hybrid or EB order?

I’ve been waiting 13 months as of today for a 22 hybrid, it was rolled over on 9/15/22. It an xlt with lux package and co pilot. So I’m sure I’ve got constraints.
