My vin isn’t working now either

Chat says "I show your 2022 Maverick - VIN is In Order Processing. Production can start the week of December 19, 2022. The estimated arrival date is to be determined", but when i track I get
"We're sorry. We are unable to process this Order. Please enter a valid Ford Order/VIN." must be still trickling through.
“Year long wait at best”? First of all, that is ridiculous, most people will have less than a year long wait. Second, unless someone stole my truck from my garage in the last hour my wait to drive my Maverick would be the time it takes to put my shoes on and walk 200 feet.Common sense dictates that’s what i implied. I further expanded in a later post, and you still quoted an earlier post. Sorry if the truth hurts. You might as well relax, you are in for a year long wait at best.
agreed. just kinda funny how the customer facing shows an issue with VIN and their end is fine. The reps have no knowledge of the 12/19 being a placeholder date for orders that will cancelled. It’s frustrating that we know more than they do.

Care to show your work?most will be waiting a year. Going to take months to work through all the rollovers.
The hitch is the same, wiring is different (7pin/4pin vs 4pin) and the 4k tow package on the ecoboost also gets upgraded cooling to handle more weight and better final drive ratio for better pulling capability. The real question is on those orders that were passed over for scheduling with that being a constraint, was it:
a) A non-Lux with the hitch option
b) A Lux (which includes the same optional hitch)
c) A 4K Tow package vehicle
Still unclear whether the same physical hitch receiver is used for both the 2K tow and the 4K tow capacities. I would assume the 4k hitch receiver is physically beefier, but perhaps the hitch is common and the difference in the 4k vehicle is just suspension, shocks, extra braking capacity, etc.
It will be interesting to hear what @fordvideoguy has to say, given they have ~20 allocations previewing this week, so hopefully he'll have some good data on which specific configuration(s) are getting passed over with the hitch being cited as the issue.
How do you see someone saying “most people will not have to wait 12 months for their truck“ and think “this person must not be satisfied with their life“?Second, I’m sorry if you aren’t satisfied with your life.
Mine wasn't loading an hour ago...but it is back now (a 12/19).My 2022 VIN is no longer found by the tracking website. Not sure what that means. It still worked yesterday
My 2022 vin is now working in the tracker again
Well, there goes my theory. Plus Tim says they rescheduled scheduling to tomorrow:Mine wasn't loading an hour ago...but it is back now (a 12/19).
I just hope ford sends notices to BOTH customers and Dealers when they are ready to take on the "new" 22/23 orders. So many dealers need driven, it seems.Well, there goes my theory. Plus Tim says they rescheduled scheduling to tomorrow:

Wait... not entirely sure what you guys are arguing about, but Just to confirm, you are aware that a year + wait is absolutely the norm with the maverick right? Especially with the hybrid.“Year long wait at best”? First of all, that is ridiculous, most people will have less than a year long wait. Second, unless someone stole my truck from my garage in the last hour my wait to drive my Maverick would be the time it takes to put my shoes on and walk 200 feet.
