That seems something specific to your dealer, I’m not aware of any Ford corporate program that would offer that.

So glad that Casey and Christine at Coccia Ford in Wilkes Barre, PA were all over the process and got my 9/15/21 cancelled XLT hybrid through the process correctly and now I’ve got a 2023 VIN and a build week of 1/2/23

Is there any scheduling happening this week?

One you get about 4,000 miles on it, you’ll get the “true” MPG for your truck. Or so I’ve read.

A new order gets entered by ford mirroring the 2022 order as much as possible. The 2022 does not become a 2023 order. They are distinctly separate orders. Once the 2023 has its priority changed by the dealer, ford cancels the unbuilt 2022.

They make the change on the 2023 order when it shows in the system. Dealers are not to do anything at all to 2022 orders. Nothing at all.

It is pretty insane. I ordered 9/15/21. Had a Vin. I’m cancelled waiting for. 2023 order to magically appear in the system while newbies to the Maverick are getting scheduled. Insane.

I’m so thankful Christine at my dealership confirmed with me today that they got the new memo, and they are following the process! I feel for those of you whose local dealers aren’t understanding how to handle the cancelled 2022 hybrids.

The rep I talked to today had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned my 2022 order that was going to be cancelled. She kept repeating “your 2022 Maverick will be built the week of January 9th”. I politely asked her how can that be if the 2023 model year will be in production then...
