Just filled up after going a little over 500 miles on a tank. I live in a rural community and a lot of my driving is highway and interstate. The truck's computer was a little optimistic in terms of mpg. My hand calculations showed right at 39 mpg as opposed to the 41 in the attached pic. Either way, I'll take it. It's comparable or better than my Civic that I traded which was the main selling point for me.

I recently joined the over 500 mile club. Almost unfair to compare to any other car . . . we're talking about a truck with unheard of mileage.

I reached 1000 miles today on second tank filling up at 1/4 empty. . Filled up and hand calculate to 53 mpg compared to computer 55.5 I had the best weather, no extremes, so no ac or heater. I haven't reset anything on the mileage screen , that's all miles from the dealer. . Second photo after fill-up. I don't expect the numbers to be this high with winter arrival and more interstate travel. I could watch the number drop on the interstate.

My mileage looks a lot like yours; I too mostly travel hwys and interstates on my ~75 mile a day commute. On the weekends I do get more stop and go which helps the average.

On my 2nd tank now and think I'm @ 42.8 combined (which is a little high compared to my hand calculations as well).

Amazing! Do keep in mind that many have experienced better mileage as the truck breaks itself in.

My truck doesn't seem to like 70mph, each week I've had an hour or so highway trip and mpg seem to drop quite a bit while going 70. Was really surprised when speed limit changed to 60 and I changed the cruise control to that and the truck showed "Electric" on the dash for a while going that speed. Fill ups each time showing just below 40mpg overall.

The mileage has been amazing. Every time I turn the truck off and see the mileage I get surprised all over again. Just did a 51 mile trip today that was mostly highway, and only 7.7 miles of electric, and it came to 39.6mpg. Tuesday I drove all morning in mixed driving and got 45mpg. It seems fake, but the gas gauge just doesn't move lol

Consistently taking your fuel pumps below 1/4 tank will shorten their lives. Just sayin.
But the only way to know how many mile per tank you are getting is to run it down to 0 miles to empty EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.

It'll get a lot of mpg sitting at the dealers waiting on a new fuel pump.

We're at about 130 miles after roughly two weeks of ownership. When we got the truck, it had 8 miles on it and was showing a range of about 330. Now the remaining range is at 417 which would make the total range on a tank of gas 547 miles lol.

That has not been true in 25 years.
Maybe that's where the 13.8 gallon number comes from for our 16 gallon tanks. Maybe 13.8 is the recommended usable gas. The rest is "reserve" or possibly for cooling.
If cooling was was requirement it should not depend on the user. It's should be part of the design.

Drove my 1999 Trailblazer for 12 years, I’d say 99% of the time I ran the tank down to the “low fuel light” coming on. Never had a fuel pump go out.

That's interesting on the electric. Did you hear any difference when it made the switch?
