I had a similar issue happen to me back in August. About 5 miles after I picked up my new Maverick hybrid from the dealership, I lost power while I was merging onto a highway. In my situation brakes were still working and the dash was still on, as it was throwing off all sorts of warnings. By the time the tow truck arrived, however, the vehicle was totally dead. Issue ended up being a blown main fuse. Total mileage on the odometer when it broke down was 20 miles. Very dangerous situation. Glad you were able to pull over safely.Over the weekend my Maverick lost all power while I was driving 65 mph on the interstate!!! The engine cut off and the battery went dead. No power to lights, no brakes, no power steering, no power whatsoever! It was very scary!! I was eventually able to drift the car to the median, but was nearly in an awful accident because I had no brakes. I'm sure I drifted 1/4 to a 1/2 mile. Once over to the side of the road, the car remained without power. The vehicle wouldn't even respond to the key fob. The vehicle has only about 8k miles. I understand from reading other posts that there is an issue with the battery wiring harness. It's unfathomable that Ford would sell a vehicle that could lose all power while in operation. I have had the vehicle towed to a Ford Dealer and have reached out to Ford about the issue
