Sorry this happened to you. I have the same issue and I am waiting on a response from Ford as well
It's very difficult getting in touch with anyone and getting any kind of meaningful response. Their IVR phone systems seem intentionally designed to create a delay and confusion.

Yes it’s a well documented issue on this forum but instead of the hybrid owners raising hell to ford and the gov they blow it off as basically ok and go buy battery jump boxes and try to fix it themselves. Somebody’s gonna die because of it

What's been well-documented is that the vehicle is dead when you go to unlock or start it.

And people have been complaining to Ford and NHSTA.

Not when it's running like OP claims. Please link to the other threads where people have claimed they lost all power while driving.

Did anything pop up on your app? Sounds like maybe the alternator went out.

Over the weekend my Maverick lost all power while I was driving 65 mph on the interstate!!! The engine cut off and the battery went dead. No power to lights, no brakes, no power steering, no power whatsoever! It was very scary!! I was eventually able to drift the car to the median, but was nearly in an awful accident because I had no brakes. I'm sure I drifted 1/4 to a 1/2 mile. Once over to the side of the road, the car remained without power. The vehicle wouldn't even respond to the key fob. The vehicle has only about 8k miles. I understand from reading other posts that there is an issue with the battery wiring harness. It's unfathomable that Ford would sell a vehicle that could lose all power while in operation. I have had the vehicle towed to a Ford Dealer and have reached out to Ford about the issue

I just spoke to a rep and basically it sucks to be me. No parts and since my dealer has no loaner I am hosed. Ford said they MAY be able to help but I have to let my truck at the dealer to open a case. Not a happy camper right now

The Maverick brakes are hydraulic. What felt like "no brakes" was likely just loss of power assistance. Same as the power steering going out. You can still steer, but it's gonna take more work.

Every car has brake redundancy.
This ^^ Most people panic in these situations, but you can absolutely stand on the brake pedal and get significant stopping force. The key is to not panic. And, unfortunately ALL cars can lose all power while driving. It is rare, but with the right kind of failure it is possible.

Back in the early 2000s my 3.0 liter BMW Z3 would randomly do the same.
The difference was it was a manual, so I could start it back up on the fly. Unfortunately, it never did it for the dealer, so no resolution ever came. Happened probably 5x during my ownership of 65,000 miles.

Didn’t the Chevy Cobalt do something similar?

But yeah, your issue could be that wiring harness thing, so probably not related to ignition or something like the Cobalt.
