I had a similar issue happen to me back in August. About 5 miles after I picked up my new Maverick hybrid from the dealership, I lost power while I was merging onto a highway. In my situation brakes were still working and the dash was still on, as it was throwing off all sorts of warnings. By...
I picked up my new maverick hybrid on Tuesday and about an hour later the vehicle completely fried while I was driving. Service says the issue was a fuse but I’m thinking the battery issues a lot of people have been experiencing might be an issue as well. When the tow truck showed up, the only...
I just had this issue happen to me as well but circumstances were a little different. About 30min after I picked up my hybrid XLT from the dealership, I put about 5 miles on the car myself before the mav suddenly lurched forward and this warning popped up while I was driving. Car lost power...
I’m also in the same boat. XLT hybrid sitting in Montreal bound for eastern Ontario. Built and shipped April 13, 2022. Last I heard on July 15 that it was “On Hold” at the shipping yard but nothing since.
I think I’m in the same situation as you. My Maverick shipped April 13 and is still stuck in Montreal at the shipping yard. This is the message the shipper sent me:
Thanks for the input. Agree it doesn't make any sense that the vehicle is on hold now since it's already left the plant. Hopefully it arrives soon. This is week 13 since shipping.
thanks for the info. It’s a hybrid Maverick that is affected by the recall but right now it’s at a auto shipping yard so I assume they wouldn’t be able to fix any of the issues there.
So my vehicle has been located, but now the shipping carrier is telling me the vehicle is "ON HOLD" and cannot be released yet. Anyone ever heard of this or know why that might be?
I hope you’re right and it does finally show up. Ford Canada won’t even reply to my emails so I doubt they’ll do anything to make it right if it never shows.
