The title says all... how many of you? I ordered a Maverick without even test-drive it first. I did sit inside of a Maverick (hybrid) at the dealer's lot and ordered a Maverick with EcoBoost.
I did
On paper it is a little bigger interior than my 2016 Tacoma
I have driven that 320K in last 1 years so not to concerned

I didn't even know they existed until I came across an article about them in October '21. After reading about them for a couple of days I ordered one. Never saw one in person, never sat in one let alone a test drive. My biggest concern was about headroom (as a 6'3" person), but I compared the specs in Car and Driver against my previous vehicle and realized I should be fine. Looking at posts from other tall drivers helped as well. When my Mav showed up in March I was actually surprised at how big it appeared to me, because the articles kept talking about "little truck".
I think the most surprising thing about this little truck is how big it actually is. Its a weird metric-the Mav is actually a fairly large vehicle in comparison to a lot of other things on the road. Its just small in comparison to how massive every other truck has become.

Yep, ordered based on research overload. Then a few weeks later, got the chance to test drive an AWD XL. Action confirmed. 🤠

Haha. Well we at least got to build and price and configure 2022. Hell now we just order from some random guy posting a piece of paper on the site. I have actually sat in one a drove around a parking lot. I have seen at least 20. All at a little dealership in Illinois. So I order from them this time.

I ordered my Maverick XLT Hybrid on August 23, 2021.

First times I sat in a Maverick was September 30, 2021 and October 14, 2021 when I went to the State Fair of Texas:

TX State Fair Auto Show

First time I drove a Hybrid Maverick is the day I bought it and took it home on December 13, 2021.

I've seen a total of five on the road. Sat in a used hybrid at a dealership for a few minutes. It checked alot of boxes. And I'm downsizing from a Ram 1500. I didn't drive it because it was already spoken for. Hopefully my order gets filled.

I went to a Hyundai dealer to drive a used Genesis since you can't find any of those new either. I drove that plus they had a Santa Cruz non-turbo plus they had a Maverick hybrid for comparison. I liked them all but was somehow more drawn to the Mav. Then a Ford dealer had an EB in stock so I got to drive that and really liked it. Probably should have bought that one but was not prepared to pay $5k over sticker. I also drove a Bronco Sport with the EB the other day and liked it a lot. I've had my B2000 since 1993 and love it but time to move on.

I hadn't heard of one before I got to see one at a dealer alongside a Bronco Sport. I got to sit in both and ended up ordering the Maverick on the spot. That Mav was actually delivered while I was at the dealer lol, watched it happen. I really liked the BS, but I decided that for the practicality of it, the Maverick was the direction to go.
I ordered one and the closest I got to a Mav was sitting in a Bronco Sport.

Did you feel like there was much of a difference between the two space wise?

Sure there are measurements available, but I am more curious how they actually "fit" on the inside, such as people in the second row. Sometimes a vehicle will have more space, but due to the design, not really in real use.

I've never driven one. I got to sit in one that arrived as a retail order at my local dealer in January and hadn't been picked up yet. I drive past that dealership nearly every weekday and that was still the only Maverick I have ever seen there. I ordered one the same day, 1/18/2022 from them. It is currently in production, maybe I will have it by Thanksgiving.

Up until about a month ago I had seen less than ten (probably less then 5) Mavericks in the wild. In the last month or so I have seen at least 10 different ones driving around my area of Central NC. They are working their way out. I know that once you buy a car you see it everywhere but I have been looking for Mavericks for months and the spike has been noticeable.

Ordered on faith , sight unseen, 9-20-2021 (Happy Birthday!)

Sat in an EB in November of ‘21 and deflected my Salesman’s offer for a test drive with “I’ll wait until I can drive the Hybrid engine and tranny”. Still waiting…

My Father is probably spinning in his grave, I violated at least 2 of his Rules: bought a car in its 1st production year AND bought it sight-unseen w/o a test run.

Maybe it’ll arrive by Halloween. Lots of faith in very trying times!

I got lucky and was able to test drive one over the summer. I've seen a few around town. I would have still ordered one without test driving it though.
