If it helps, Mine got built mid-Aug sometime, shipped Sep 8, and arrived around the 29/30th and was able to get it on the 5th. My city has its own rail docks and everything so the only transhipment was probably local-no long over the road on a car carrier.

It definitely should not be like that. There are other posts on here that describe the toothed bracket as a safety device to perform an emergency deflate on the tire in the case of a serious accident. When I pick mine up tomorrow you can definitely bet I'll be shimmying my way under the truck...

My XLT FX4 (no 4K, Moon, Lux packs) had a mid-August schedule date, and was marked as shipped on 9 Sep. Arrived last week and I'm picking it up on Wednesday. My city has its own railhead though so I don't have to wait too long because of any intermodal stuff.
