The title says all... how many of you? I ordered a Maverick without even test-drive it first. I did sit inside of a Maverick (hybrid) at the dealer's lot and ordered a Maverick with EcoBoost.
I red reviews watched videos and finally order went through yesterday. I have seen a few on the road but that's it. never sat in one, I have parked next to 2 of them 1 XL and one Lariat. I ordered an XLT. Interior dimensions are nearly identical to my 2020 Jeep Compass. The maverick is about 1 inch more in all dimensions. So I new the interior size. I was going to go Hybrid the entire time until they made the 2.0 a N/C option. I figured I can get it maybe slightly faster that way? either way my driving is mixed so the hybrid would only get me slightly more MPG then the EB.

Sat in one didn't test drive. When I got it it exceeded expectations. My last experience with a pickup was an old body on frame 1980 toyota so the bar was low but the mav handles just about as good as my last car.

I ordered one and the closest I got to a Mav was sitting in a Bronco Sport.

Did you feel like there was much of a difference between the two space wise?

Sure there are measurements available, but I am more curious how they actually "fit" on the inside, such as people in the second row. Sometimes a vehicle will have more space, but due to the design, not really in real use.
Sorry, its been a few months since I had that impression. I don't remember there being much difference between the seated position in the BS v Mav, but there is a noticeable difference in interior materials-you'll see lots of people talking about that. I don't remember the trim of the BS, so I'm not sure how upscale it was.

I didn't go to the dealer intending to sign a contract. As near as I can remember what I wanted originally (to see, touch, and dream about) was the 2-door Bronco. I got to see a 4-door Bronco, the BS, and the Mav that day, but only got to sit in the BS and Mav. The Bronco had just come on a truck. The Bronco was simply unobtainable from that particular dealer. The BS was very nice and a strong contender. I liked the interior space which was big and roomy feeling (since its a giant box on wheels) but I went for the Mav ultimately because of the price, the bed, and because I got to get the 2.0L FX4. I'll also admit that I was suckered a little bit by the rarity. Comparable capability out of the BS would have radically increased the price and would have left me without the bed. The BS is also in a weird market spot for me-I didn't want a crossover anyway, I wanted that full-on SUV with retro styling.

I plan to mostly haul air and groceries, but I also hate asking to borrow someone else's truck to move things. I plan on taking it on forest service roads, back roads, and into snow. I live in Minnesota and travel often in the north in winter, so I wanted to make sure that my light truck was robust. I normally drive hatchbacks, so I have a healthy ability to judge what is/what is not acceptable driving conditions for low cars. I don't plan on thrashing the Mav through the snow-but sometimes you just end up on a drifting road. All of this reinforced my choice for the Mav and not the BS.

I did. But it's like buying any new car, you test drive it before you buy it. If you don't like it, you don't go through with the purchase.

I got to test drive an ecoboost the day I ordered my 23. It was nice and had pep. Throttle lag like other vehicles but not as pronounced. That was nice to be able to feel it accelerate when I want it to instead of a rubber band reaction I got with my Corolla.

My dealer was fortunate to have a hybrid Lariat I was able to test drive and I was hooked, ended up getting a hybrid XLT, I like nice things but couldn’t spend see my self spending another few thousand just for the Lariat trim.

I did not test drive a Maverick. I did get to see one at the dealer lot before ordering, but it was already sold and therefore not available to test drive.

I did the same. Comfortable cab, easy in and out.

A friend of mine has a Bronco Sport so I took that for a spin. Closest I could get to test driving one. But based on what reviews are saying, how the Bronco drove, and how my old school Mazda B4000 pickup drove, I doubt I'll be disappointed. Just have to wait 6-9 months to find out.
