I have an appointment on the 15th to order. However, the salesman indicated his manager told him it may only open up to MY22 rollovers first and that new orders may be pushed out to Oct/Nov. Has anyone else heard this?

You won’t need to order on the first day. Dealers will still need to have allocations, there will still need to be available commodities, and there will still be priority codes. It would not surprise me if Ford continues to kick the can down the road on MY23. It is obvious they are struggling with many things and have a level of bureaucratic incompetence that tends to befall most major companies at their level. In actuality though it will not make much difference as MY23 will not start to be built for some time anyway.
The more I think about it, if one does not order their Maverick within the first few days of order banks finally opening, the chances of getting a '23 will be slim to none. Just my gut feeling.
Yeah, so they fired 3000 people that do the work. Well, I will leave it at that as some thing rarely change in life it seems. You won’t need to order on the first day. Ford fired 3000 people less than 2 weeks ago. The transition is going to take some time. When all of your schedulers are gone or repurposed, there will be some hiccups.
That was redundant office worker positions eliminated resulting from the splitting of the company. They're actually INCREASING the Blue Collar workforce so they can increase output at the factories. Most large corporations I ever worked at were way overstaffed with degreed people in their Horizontal organization management structure. Too many paper pushers and too few worker bees.Yeah, so they fired 3000 people that do the work. Well, I will leave it at that as some thing rarely change in life it seems.
I have NOT seen anything that changes the sept. 15 order banks to be open for EVERYBODY.... November 24 is production start date for the Sept. 15 ordersI have an appointment on the 15th to order. Ford and locked down should never be used in the same sentence -)I'm definitely willing to wait, up to a reasonable point. I'd have thought Ford would've had this locked down a little better though. It's 11 days away.
I missed Tims @fordvideoguy show on Thursday, but I think he has been saying mid-September and that Ford has not specified September 15 as the official date. And don’t even get him started when Ford gives them Order Guides for new year models lol.I have an appointment on the 15th to order. Nor have you seen anything official from Ford that says it is the 15th. The only word from Ford is "September". The Fleet schedule does say the 15th, but that doesn't mean Retail will be the same day, and that may be just because they had to stick an actual date in.I have NOT seen anything that changes the sept. 15 order banks to be open for EVERYBODY.... This clearly shows the 15th:I’ve never seen the 15th announced as the day. Or a Thursday to open and order bank. So I’ll vote no.
