I don't even have mine and I'm disappointed with it in advance. Because it has two too many doors for starters. A much cheaper interior than I wanted. And it's not a BEV. And the luxury package I spent thousands on is anything but luxury.

That said, it's the best option out there for my needs right now (and I really looked closely at the SC). And you most assuredly cannot drive a vehicle that only exists in your imagination. Just because I want a BEV single cab truly-tiny truck with a frunk doesn't mean anyone is gonna build it anytime soon.

The shocks absorption not so good. I can hear by car dash on even slight bumpy roads. Second, XLT models should have been push-start as well.

I have only had the Truck for a week but my biggest disappoints so far were not getting the LCD displays on the HVAC and not getting Sport mode with the off-road package. Already replaced the HVAC unit with the one that should have come with it but I suppose it will take some kind of software update to get the Sport drive mode.

Good news for you is that users on the forum have posted info about getting Sport drive mode enabled with Forscan. Might be a little learning curve and you will need an appropriate ODB2 connection to a windows laptop, but you can do it!

Still waiting for mine (ordered in July, ETA March 19 - 25).
Seems everyone is happy with their truck.
Just wondering if anyone regrets their purchase (this is my first Ford)
There's no doubt we all are more then satisfied with our trucks. What we miss from cars we had that the maverick doesn't have, or is not available, are mentioned throughout the forums. You have to give up some things to keep the price low. The Hybrid is the best deal out there. No
one comes close! You'll have fun with all the aftermarket things that you can add to your Maverick. Let your family know what you want for Christmas, birthday etc.

I've had it now for 4 months (6000 miles) and it's been great so far! Kids bought me a tonneau cover for Father's Day...Tinting the front windows is next, then in bed LED lights. Already installed the tailgate assist.

Awesome little truck!

I'd say my disappointment (other than the wait) is two fold. The truck doesn't remember your driving mode when your shut it off and start it back up. And if you connect via blue tooth for audio, it ALWAYS blasts the radio when you first turn the radio on rather than remembering you're listening to your phone last time. If you plug in the phone it can play through Android Auto but wants to default to my podcast player first.

And one more I guess, would be the lack of programmable garage door openers. A big drop from my previous new cars.

And just to dog pile, I don't like that the "this trip" calculation resets every time you open the driver door even if the vehicle is still running. Had to hop out to get something from the backseat and my trip calculation reset to zero on me.

Why did you order it if it didn’t meet your specs?
I love my Maverick hybrid XLT with the Lux pkg in VB!! It does everything I need it to do!
1. It sits low enough to the ground where I don’t need running boards to get in the cab.

2. I can easily reach into the bed from the back and sides w/o having to climb in.

3. It has enough towing capacity to haul my 5’ x 8’ trailer.

4. The bed is wide and long enough to carry wood, my electric bicycle, yard supplies, folding tables and chairs, and whatever else I need.

5. I love the 43 mpg I’m averaging in the city, which is where I drive the majority of the time.

5. The cab and instruments are easily accessible.

6. I love the interior room and comfort of the seats.

7. The under seat storage of the back seat allows me to store my tie down straps and other necessities.

8. Plenty of legroom in the front and back.

9. plenty of tie down points in the bed.

10. The best damn truck I ever owned!!

I thing there are just way too many “Negative Nancy” type of people who like to just complain. Enjoy the truck for what it is.

14,300 trouble free, very happy, 42.1 MPG avg hybrid miles so far. Not one complaint. No chips in glass, no chips in paint, no squeeks, noises....nothing. A solid 10 on a 1-10 scale.

The videos on line to see if there is any disappointment have to be from owners like this, not people who get a loaner for a test drive.

I received my maverick AWD XLT 5 days ago , it’s at the dealership now needing a new transmission. 1st Ford purchase after owning 20some Toyota’s … not great experience so far. I’m in northern Canada and sometimes am hundreds of miles from even cell service so now will find it hard to trust this truck , it will be going up for sale. I hope it has good resale value since they seem to be in demand

Nothing but problems with mine. Hopefully it gets totalled so I can exit gracefully.

17,000 miles on my hybrid xlt and next week it’s having the engine and transmission pulled out to determine the cause of an obnoxious rattle and very rough idle as well as engine misfires. So I guess I’d say I am not too happy.
