Never noticed this on mine, but never looked. If I have this issue, I'm going to take a very thin gauge black wire and wedge it into the gap with a credit card....

I wonder if this could be an issue with the app as opposed to the truck. Just got the message after a 65 mile trip. Truck is 20 months old with 23,000 miles and this is the first issue I've had.
Never owned a Ford before unless you consider the '98 Mazda B2300 to be a Ford. It was a great little truck that I had for over 8 years and 300,000 miles. Best vehicle I ever had
Since then I've had a Chevy, Hyundais/Kias, (still have 1 of each), and a Subaru (Baja).

About a year and a half and 20,000 miles later, I'm still occasionally surprised that this truck is big and small at the same time. When I see another one on the road (rarely) it seems so small, but it takes more space than my kid's Santa Fe....
Have mine for a year (March 30, 2022) and 14,000 trouble-free (knock wood) miles.
Averaging 40 mpg while driving 70% highway. Still feels, looks, sounds, and drives like the day I picked it up, which is to say "new". Even has the "new car smell".... I'm probably never doing the seatbelt recall...
