  1. CarPlay disconnects when barely bumping port.

I use a wireless CarPlay adapter with an angled usb c cord to power it.
  2. CarPlay disconnects when barely bumping port.

I’ve tried close to 10 lol. Not the cord.
  3. CarPlay disconnects when barely bumping port.

As the title says if I just barely bump the usb port CarPlay disconnects and eventually reconnects. Also happens on bumpy roads. Anyone else? Any recommendations?
  4. Anybody downloaded IO 26 yet for CarPlay

I was hoping to have video playback while parked which apple says was added, but only get audio update. I guess ford needs to add it. Disappointing
  5. Dead battery

I did not get a free battery but did get that battery drain fix.
  6. Dead battery

Got a message in the middle of the night that remote features were disabled on my 2022 Hybrid. This has happened before but it’s always started right up. This time nothing. I had to jump it. Got it to the dealer and a battery test showed the voltage was good at 12.4 but the CCA was at only...
  7. Cold engine + neutral = bucking bronco

No, I don’t converse with AI bots.
  8. Cold engine + neutral = bucking bronco

Alright I realize no one really uses neutral, I found this out by accident. Thought I had the shifter in drive but had put it into neutral. Gas engine was running and the engine was cold. It started bucking and puttering like it was going to stall out. Once in drive it was fine. I know a...
  9. My CV axle saga

Unfortunately I don’t know what the original number was.
  10. My CV axle saga

UPDATE: Both axles are now upgraded and replaced with the new ford part. Shaking is gone and seems to be back to normal. Wait time was 3 weeks for passenger side and 1 week for driver side.
  11. My CV axle saga

Have your dealer order because it’ll be quicker than they say. They told me 1 month, it was 1 week.
  12. My CV axle saga

No, I also had to have the engine and transmission pulled to replace the engine dampener in the first 20k.
  13. CV axle fix MIGHT be coming soon

I had my passenger side cv replaced last week. Now they say (and I agree) I need a drivers side. It is an upgraded part and visually you can tell it’s much higher quality. The shaking was about an 8/10, now with 1 new cv it’s about a 4/10. They expect 1 month for the other side to arrive.
  14. My CV axle saga

I’ve heard these escapes brought up anytime someone brings up Maverick reliability. While it’s great it’s not exactly a huge sample size. I don’t think I’ve been “lucky” with my cvt, there’s a long track record of many manufacturers making g long lasting and reliable cvt’s. My maverick just...
  15. My CV axle saga

My 2014 Corolla with a CVT has 195,000 on it.
  16. My CV axle saga

How long ago was this? The new ones have just recently been released and on backorder with about a 1 month wait. They knew the passenger side was bad, ordered it and waited 3 weeks. Once replaced they all of a sudden “discovered” passenger side is also bad and now I’m waiting around 1 month...
  17. My CV axle saga

My Corolla is at 195,000 and still on the original cv axles. My maverick needed 2 new ones at 50k.
  18. My CV axle saga

I am at 60k currently but symptoms started around 50k. Between diagnosis and backordered parts it took that long. Under 60k you pay nothing. For me if it’s over 60k I pay a $100 deductible with my extended warranty. I remember hearing the part is somewhere around $200 but the labor brings...
  19. My CV axle saga

Well to get back on track, I picked up the truck today with the one new cv axle. Was told the other one is about 1 month out. Before the repair the shaking was an 8/10 and now it’s about 4/10. I hope the 2nd cv axle will take care of it but I have my doubts. Also the new cv axle looks much...
