Hoping you get a build day email and can see your VIN by Monday.
It freakin sucks that dealerships can't pick up the phone or heck I don't know maybe just text you this information. Total crap customer service
Checked with Ford Marketing today and they told me 'to the best of their knowledge' the hybrids are still being built and my Oct 23rd hybrid order still has a chance of being built as a MY22.
Mine on Monday was build date 8-29. Today they now said it’s 9-5. It’s crazy. I have gotten no emails of any kind from Ford or the dealer after I placed my order. Customer service said email must be going back to the dealer. The dealer said they don’t know how to fix it
. I have a 2021 F150 and have no trouble getting emails on that. They really suck!!!Despite my pessimism that Ford would actually inform their own staff with the honest truth, I hope they are right. I on the other hand am probably going to start truck shopping for alternatives. Not what I want to do...but despite doing everything asked of me looks like Ford is going to leave me hanging.
Called customer service , got week 8-8, day 8-10, first time day issued, we'll see. Oh 825xx. Now 8-12.
Just got my, scheduled for production email from Ford. Has been delayed at least twice now. Build week is now Aug 22. Have had a vin for probably a month. Oct 23rd order. Hybrid XL. only options ; hitch and full size spare. So theres hope for us all it seems. But until it sitting in my driveway its still not built.
