Oh look. I got pushed AGAIN!

Original scheduling email(which is the only one I've gotten) told me I had a build week of the first of May.

Then Ford chat let me know it was pushed to early June.

Then Mid June...

Then the first week of August...

Then the second week of August...

And today Ford chat let me know I've been pushed a 6th time to the last week of August.

This is beyond absurd.

KyleFF, I'm blaming you why I got bumped from the last week of August. They needed to make room for your Maverick. Now, Sept 12. Most of us assume we will get bumped. The ongoing supply bottlenecks still occurring, but no excuse from June to late August. Think that is the reason no more hybrids will be scheduled initially for October or first week of November. Certainly expect hybrids to be built then but just room for builds that needed parts. Terrible with names but not the one, who originally thought of this. Think is handle was pa.... not sure of the rest and even if that is correct.

The same thing happened to me. I was originally scheduled for 7/25, then got moved to 8/22 and I just checked with Ford, and I am now scheduled for 8/29.

Congrats to everyone who is moving into production. Perhaps Ford has finally got whatever has been delaying production sorted out.

No joy here though- I just chatted with Ford and I’m still unscheduled so probably looking at 2023 for me.

I did see an Area 51 and Cactus Grey Maverick while I was out running errands today. Only the 2nd and 3rd ones I’ve seen in the wild here. And I think the Cactus Grey one was the first one I saw a couple of months ago.

I saw two the other day as well and those make up to the 5th ones I've seen so far. I'm in your same boat 10/9 getting bumped to 23.

October 6th date
Not a single email from Ford
Called Ford and they confirmed I am in
Xlt Catcus Grey Lux Slider window with soft trifold

Thinking about dumping the cover, there are better options

Hodl for the lux package. I can wait to get what I want.
Do not dump anything! 👉🏼😁

I welcome all October Hybrid Orders to unite tomorrow and focus our energy on getting scheduled. I hope and think there will be a few of us chosen.
I dropped in to talk to my salesman this week just to check in. He didn't work there any longer. Got assigned a new salesman. This one actually has a Maverick hybrid on order. Said he was hoping to get bumped to '23. I asked why. He said the newer model year would be worth more at trade in time. And only a couple more months to wait. Got me thinking. As an aside they had two Hybrid Lariats on the lot priced at about $35k. I'll wait.

Saw a Cactus Grey XL at my dealer. Had 360, sliding window, and spray in liner. Told my new salesman I'd buy it right now. Took him a while to find out it wasn't available. 😕

I'm not buying supply bottlenecks as a catch all excuse for their COMPLETE inability to speculate on their own production schedule. I own/operate my own business, and we've had a horrendous time with the supply chain. That being said I ensure my customers are kept up to date on progress constantly, and would NEVER tell a customer on 6 different occasions that our deadline for their order has changed. You examine the details, and you give the customer a CONSERVATIVE timeline that you know you can meet even if everything goes wrong.

I would be less furious if back in April they had told me my build date wasn't until September. I've been putting off buying something else and bouncing around between borrowed friends cars and rental cars for MONTHS because Ford keeps suggesting its "just a couple more weeks".

if I didn't see some driving around I'd start to think there actually are no Mavericks and we are all just imagining them. Would explain why we can't get our orders built. 🤡

I’d love to be able to say congrats on getting your hybrid built, however Ford is dead wrong for building orders out of order. It’s just wrong. You go into a dealer, place an order, give a deposit, know that your order went in right when you were present and got the email from Ford saying thanks for your order: only to now see orders that were placed later in that same month getting VIN and build dates. Just wrong.
How about builds that we months after you..even worse.

Totally true. Not at all for Ford not doing orders in the order date. It’s just a total db move. Imho
