I've resigned myself to the fact that my wait time for a MY23 XLT hyrid Lux will be over a year, at least. Ordering on August 15 and hoping to get before the end of 2023. I think things are going to tighten up more as we go forward. My only doubts really are will I live long enough to see it. :D :ROFLMAO:

I'm telling you guys, just switch to the FWD ecoboost, you won't be sorry. I fully believe that unless you're in nose to tail traffic all day, the hybrid isn't worth it.
Hybrid is worth it. It has plenty of power. Mine is Lariat lux. Very comfortable. The Mileage is outstanding. There is no stop/start at stoplights which is kind of annoying. If you are waiting for your Hybrid, you will be rewarded at the gas pump and with a pleasurable drive.

Yes confirmed over the phone with Ford that it has been in "unscheduled -clean" for about a month now. Sat in priority 2 since November before that.
That is disappointing to say the least

Why would it need start stop if it's using electric?

Ordered June 19, confirmed email sent by Ford June 23. A few weeks ago received email from Ford showing build date scheduled for June 17. Received second email yesterday showing it has been pushed back to June 27. If this is true (which I doubt), the truck will be built over 1 year from the order date. No excuse for that. Lariat hybrid, fairly well loaded.

Several months ago I bought a new 2022 Ridgeline so I don't care about the Maverick other than to flip it. If I get it at the price we agreed upon, which back then was under MSRP, I'll make a few thousand easy bucks. If the market changes between now and when I receive the truck, I will just walk away.

Ordered 10-23-21.
Hybrid XL
Carb Gray
Full Spare
Drop-in bed liner
Received VIN mid-May, build week 6/27.
Build week changed to 7/4.
Build week changed to 8/1.
My order 6/10/21 changed dates 6 times. Started with a VIN and build date of May 16th now it is June 28th. So much for a first edition. I really don't expect it to be built until late July or mid Aug, just before they run out of parts for MY22. My truck will be an old model before I get it. Hey FORD"HOW ABOUT A DISCOUNT"!!!!!!

What?! Haven't heard that one yet. What electrical issues?
A very few hybrids appear to have some kind of electrical issue. 98% or so do not. It's pretty par for the course on new models of any new vehicle. They're still delivering hybrids so likely it's been resolved already.

Most of you whine so much about waiting. By now, we all know it will be a long wait. Why agonize over something you can't control. Blame Ford all you want, but this is a global issue that is affecting all automakers.
It may be a global issue, but we have no problems getting Volvo and Polestar units at our dealer. I think the supply chain issue is only a small part of the problem. The short time from design to build for the Maverick may be more of a factor.

Ordered a Lariat FE RR Hybrid on 8/20 received VIN, production date on 5/23, changed 3X 5/30, 6/13 and received an email yesterday, changed to 6/27. The First Edition has turned out to be a Last Edition!
Mad as Hell, pre traded my truck like a dummy. I drank the cool aid, you'll have it by the first of the year. Hindsight is 20 20. Not happy to say the least, but I will have to wait it out.

Same thing. 5/9 got a 7/4 build. Now 8/1. The better part of the story was I had emailed the Ford Customer Care Team and told them about their lack of communication. I received a call a couple days later and was told they would stay on top of this everyday and let me know where I stood with my order. Well they called on 5/23 and she told me good news. You have a VIN and you are scheduled for build on 7/25. I thanked her for the call and then informed her that on 5/9 I got a VIN and the build date of 7/4. So she was 2 weeks late and telling me about a 3 week delay. Ford still sucks at updates, but at least I have a VIN.
At least I can check and see what they think my date is now. It beats the "Great news I show your vehicle is in Order Processing" line that is supposed to make a person feel like something changed since you got your Order Confirmation email.
That's basically the truck I ordered and got confirmed on 8 October 2021. Yet mine is not scheduled. Thought maybe the SIBL was the hold up. I thought Ford was changing to a first ordered, first build policy. I guess not.

I ordered 10/29/21 (or so) from a smaller central FL dealer. No vin or build date yet, though they did reach out to say it might get pushed to a MY23 due to the specs. What ya gonna do? I honestly can't think of a single business that hasn't be impacted by supply/labor/cost issues, so I'm not going to get bet out of shape about this. Piecing together a truck is one complex dance; no amount of griping at customer service is going to get it put together any faster.

Logical responses are not allowed 🙃

Ford absolutely shoulders some of the blame. There were global supply chain and chip issues prior to launch. They vastly underestimated how popular the Maverick would be and specifically the demand for the hybrid.
