I'm telling you guys, just switch to the FWD ecoboost, you won't be sorry. I fully believe that unless you're in nose to tail traffic all day, the hybrid isn't worth it.
Right! 6 months and 1 week.

You know you are going to be waiting, what else do you need to be updated with?

In Canada, we don't get anything from Ford. Only dealers. My dealer updated me with Vin and Shipping, and I don't need an update until it's landed. I won't bug them for rail cars, and terminals and yards like so many do here.

It will get here when it gets here. Times are tough, be patient, OR don't order a new car and buy a used car you can get immediately.
We seem to be way more impatient in the US. :)

Central Florida location.

Hybrid XL
Carb Gray
Full Spare
Drop-in bed liner
Received VIN mid-May, build week 6/27.
Build week changed to 7/4.
Build week changed to 8/1.
Wow, my wait from order date to getting the VIN was very close to yours but my build date was only pushed back 2 weeks. Probably running into delayed shipments of supplies they need.

Dude, I ordered June 10th no restraints and it just got built a week ago. You should be happy you actually have a build date. I bet within the next 40 day, lots of people that ordered after September will get notified they are getting rolled over to a 2023.

Just got the news I got pushed out again... now scheduled for production 8/8.... and of course no email from ford since they said it was scheduled for 6/20. I'll keep waiting but this is the last car I buy new from ford.
Aug 8th? Wow. That horrible. The average person hasn't been getting their Maverick until 2 months after their production date. 2+ years ago, getting a current model year vehicle in October would mean a huge discount off MSRP.

Hybrid not worth it? A new truck that gets 40 mpg under 30k is basically the only reason I wanted a Maverick. I still don't understand the appeal of an ecoboost. If you actually need a truck to do more heavy duty truck things on a regular basis, then a Maverick isn't for you.

Most of you whine so much about waiting. By now, we all know it will be a long wait. Why agonize over something you can't control. Blame Ford all you want, but this is a global issue that is affecting all automakers.
Logical responses are not allowed 🙃

So, you're suggesting the mpg of the hybrid at its worst is only a little better than the EB at its best, so it is worth paying the higher price of the EB?

7/22/2021. XLT Hybrid Lux. No VIN, no build date, no nothing. Ford says talk to dealer, dealer says 🤷‍♂️.

At this point, I will take any new information with a grain of salt until I see my Maverick in the flesh.

Do you have confirmation that your order was completed? I ordered the same Config Nov 1 and got a confirmation email and two more over the past two months saying “Hey thanks for the order but nothing to report”😵💫🤬🙃

Yes confirmed over the phone with Ford that it has been in "unscheduled -clean" for about a month now. Sat in priority 2 since November before that.

I will say I live in a snow belt area and AWD is definitely safer. If the Hybrid came in AWD I would have ordered it. Just my opinion.
