The battery warranty is 8 years. The expectation is the batteries will last about 14 years. So, forget the miles. It will be more of a time issue. Also, temperature extremes will affect battery life. So, keep it garaged if you can.
I am on my second Dumb Maverick as well. The first was a 2022 Velocity Blue Lariat Hybrid. Sweeeet. The second is a 2025 Eruption Green Lariat Hybrid. I am dumb enough to put up with AWD and nearly 40 mpg. Nice little truck and I love the GREEN Machine!
The Maverick is the least expensive truck available in the USA. And if you are paying more than sticker for your Maverick, then you didn't shop around, or you were in a hurry.
On my 2025 Mav Lariat the spacers appear on the console screen. Up to 4 bumps. I usually leave it at 4 unless there is a bunch of traffic, then the gap needs to tighten. The hands free lane centering is a joke. Like self driving cars. Not today and not in the snow belt.
I found a new 2025 lariat hybrid in October right after they opened the 2026 order bank. I bought the 2025 because, 1. I wanted eruption green. 2. Although they lowered the price on the 2026, it was because they made some of the Lariat package items optional for additional cost. Well, you pay...
Ordered the 2022 Lariat Hybrid. Took 9 months to get. $32k . It was an excellent pickup truck with all the bells and whistles In the Velocity Blue color. I did trade it in recently at 69,000 miles for a 2025 Lariat Hybrid. I was going to wait but the Eruption Green wasn't coming back in...
With 69k miles on my 2022 Mav, my wife has never sat in the drivers seat. Backseat driving is more her style anyway. lol. She has a Subaru Outback Touring which is very nice. I don't mind.
My 2022 hybrid Mav first oil change was 7500 miles. Every 7500 thereafter. Just had an oil change and rotation at 67,500. Running like a champ. keep it simple.
This is my 4th pickup truck and the best overall. the other trucks were an 80's Datsun pickup, a 2004 Dakoto, and a 2010 Ranger, all good Trucks. But the 2022 Maverick blows them all away with the 41 mpg in the summer. In the winter, the mileage lowers to about 35 mpg (cold Northern Ohio...
I have a 2022 Lariat Hybrid. I like it the way it is. But if I could change or add some things...
1. Give the front passenger seat electric controls too.
2. Rearview mirror as a camera video Screen option. My wifes Subaru has it and I love it.
A bit of moderation doesn't hurt. However, greeting the Amazon driver by name, especially if she is a fair looking driver will always put you in hot water. good luck
60K Miles on my 2022 Mav. Replaced the Michelin tires at 44k with the same. Replaced the windshield due to a road stone. The rest is oil changes and recalls. I did bump the warranty to 100k through Ford in 2025.
