Changing the cabin air filter was the first thing I did to try to stifle the smell but I didn't even think at the time to check. I might try looking into that before scheduling all that labor at a mechanic.
Noticed a funky smell coming from my AC right when I started my 22' ecoboost mav so I brought it to my local mechanic to take a look at. He tells me the AC drain tube is behind 2 separate shields under the truck. But in order to remove the 2nd heat shield, the drive shaft has to be taken off the...
I wrapped the pry tool tip in painters tape and also kind of pushed the tool and pulled away from the tire instead of using the bend in the pry tool as leverage. They're a little finicky but I've been able to get them out with no damage
I ordered the smoke to go on my carb gray. I have the lasfit amber led marker lights so I think it will look clean and not stand out when the lights are off but still get the amber to show through and be legal when they're on.
I think they expire in 2 years if you don't touch them at all since the date they gave me was 2 years after I bought my Maverick. I believe using any amount of points for an accessory or an oil change restarts that clock if I understand correctly but I used all of them at once.
If you're logged in it's literally a step you have to go through in checkout before entering your payment. I just redeemed them all this morning, which is why my balance shows 0.
I entered the code and clicked 'apply discount' and then there is an empty box that you have to type how many points you want to use and then I believe there is a box to click that says 'redeem points' or something like that. I agree is wasn't the easiest checkout experience getting everything...
I had just gotten a notification that my 42,000 ford pass points I acquired when purchasing my truck would expire if I didn't use them in 30 days. Luckily you can combine the 25% off code with ford pass points and I was able to get a $309 hitch bed extender for $34!
In my personal experience, my Lasfit lights have been amazing for the 23 months I've had my truck. I paid retail (on sale) price for the full kit and have not regretted it. I don't think their name should be lumped in with the Mabett's of the forum. A smart consumer does their own research...
I've had my 22 maverick for almost 2 years and really don't have any major scratching issues. There are some minor scuffs but nothing that stands out as an eye sore.
