⏱ Maverick Scheduling Next Week (3/14) For Production Build Week 5/2/22

Ford still makes plenty of cars. They just don't sell them here where the buying public has decided they want trucks, three-row SUVs, crossovers, or muscle cars.

The public will want efficient cars now that gas is over $4.00 a gallon. I went to the Cleveland Auto Show and the Ford and Chevy displays sucked. No cars! Not everyone wants a gas guzzling truck, suv, or crossover. I'd buy a Honda if I was looking for a car and I'm sure many people will now that the big 3 have little offerings. If Ford didn't offer the hybrid option I wouldn't be buying this. I had a 2010 Ranger that got the same MPG as a 2022 Maverick. That's how far we've come? Zero improvement.

I think they should do something for those of us who have been waiting since June! Ticks me off when people who ordered in October already have their truck. So even if we (June orders) get build dates next week, it'll be over a year since we ordered and received our trucks. At least throw in a SIBL or bed extender, or both. I did write to both above emails. All June people should! We were first, but yet we're last? Ford should throw us a bone.

Hey now, I ordered in October and haven't heard a peep about a build date yet. I'm just as ticked as you guys that ordered before me when we see orders placed in January get selected already. And I did order from a larger volume dealer in SW Ohio.

I know. I'm just using October as an example. It's not fair that those who ordered after anyone are getting trucks/build dates.

I have been a PC 2 for sometime. They did get a XLT awd about two weeks ago. They only had 6 orders for their customers for MY22. I do have an extra vehicle to drive so I have alittle more patience than many others waiting. But, "I think it's going to be a long, long time'. Elton John/Rocket Man, wife and I saw him in Detroit 2/8.

I got the addresses from @Delzona last week and ripped off the letter.
Surprise! I received a response the next day!
Got a phone call from FoMoCo HQ...some poor woman who had no information and didn't have the tools to help me. She looked my order up and was able to tell me that it's unscheduled (no shit!).
She said she'd sent a message to scheduling and would get back to me as soon as she hears from them...but they don't generally answer her request unless the vehicle is scheduled (at which time I'd receive an automated email notification).

So Ford's response to our emails is to assign a low level employee to phone customers and try to make them feel better...without addressing any of the concerns or providing any additional information. Nice.

They're gonna hear back from me.

Yea! "Your order is in the Ford ordering system". Gee, friggin' thanks. No kidding? You're right, they don't care, BUT please email both execs people. I just did this morning. If enough do, they may look into it, for real.

I also did the same. I heard back. I did have a nice lady I talked to. But, once again she knew nothing, could do nothing and once again I’m ignored. I really don’t feel like Ford really cares. If it were I, I would really try to be empathetic to customers. I understand all the reasons but Ford still doesn’t change a thing.

I feel your pain with a June 19th order. I thought I was one of the only June orders left not scheduled

You are not alone I ordered my truck on June 14 going on 10 months now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also ordered on June 14. There seems to be plenty of us still around!

They haven't announced that yet, but probably late July, for production ending late September/early October.

Remember, Ford has already announced they will begin taking orders for MY23 Mavericks in mid-August and will commence production of MY23 Mavericks on Oct. 24. So, at some point, they're going to have to say that's it for MY22 scheduling, and then take a pause to make any necessary alterations to the assembly lines before resuming production for MY23s.

I really hope you get your build.... I have the same order minus the 360, but it gives me zero hope of getting mine built in 2022 if you've been waiting since June 2021.
