May I suggest . . . any Maverick that rolls off the line after July 1st and before December 31st be a 2022-1/2 MY. Maybe it's time Ford brings this concept back just for this fiasco! This won't pacify everyone but could ease some with concerns with value of late-year production units.

Ford Authority is always a month behind what's on this and other forums, but you can't help but shake your head at this. Especially after all the lip service regarding Ford's stated desire for folks to order online.

I'm still waiting for my June order to just get a scheduling date finally. I think Ford just figures that June orderers were already scheduled or cancelled. Meanwhile, I ordered June 10th and still waiting for any update. I'm not going anywhere. I have, and will continue to have...the longest standing unchanged Maverick order in the country.

Just received the email my Maverick has been built, almost 8 months to the day of ordering back in June. NOW the shipping wait, train to KY then to either Winston-Salem, NC or somewhere in SC before in gets to me in Hillsborough, NC (near Chapel Hill) eta
"Our current estimate for delivery to Capital Ford of Hillsborough is between March 17, 2022 and March 23, 2022."

maybe he's lucky that he can cancel... I am borrowing cars for the time being because I had to sell my Honda Element. I had to put on another catalytic converter (they stole 4) to do the 2 year registration thing and I had to keep it in a friend's garage till i sold it wasn't going to spend another $500 on it that I wouldn't get back to install an anti theft device that would maybe have prevented the asswipes from stealing it.

How would he cancel? Ford doesn't cancel confirmed orders. He can release his truck for his dealer to sell to someone else (for more money), or he can buy it. My question was if his truck doesn't come in by his self-imposed deadline, what other new vehicle is he going to replace it with?
