Sounds like you start over from zero with the Allocation process at your dealer. What if someone not even on the 22 list got to your dealer and ordered before you 😂
It'll happen. Guaranteed.

Very frustrating to hear, but I'm a hopeful holdout. My dealership is in the top 100 nationally in terms of size. Might be wishful thinking, but the allocation rate should be pretty up there.

"While Ford still plans to produce a limited number of 2022 model year Mavericks for dealer stock..."

That's too bad they're willing to build vehicles for potential sales over vehicles where a sale has already been made. I'm sure dealers are demanding them, since they can ADM vs. selling retail orders at sticker price.

Oh well. After reading this, I seriously doubt I'll ever get see my 2022 order.

It will be a pleasant surprise if I'm wrong, I suppose.

What's the point of butchering your build if you end up with a truck you don't want? The only thing I'd remove is the SIBL, but how do you take that out of the XLT Lux package?

Why Ford doesn't jut solve the problem by saying they aren't doing SIBL at the factory anymore and they will give us a $300 credit automatically, I just don't know. It would take that one problem right off the table instantly and everyone would be fine with it.

My dealer just forwarded this memo to me as well. I guess I’ll be taking off my Lux package

Dropping SIBL, tonneau is a no brainer but asking customers to drop a safety feature like 360 smacks of desperation

you can’t drop SIBL or 360 anyway if you got lariat lux

If you HAVE build date of week of April 4th are you in the clear I wonder???
The memo from Ford was only about unscheduled orders. If you are scheduled & have a build date/week you should be all good!

If you aren't scheduled, I wouldn't panic. Most unscheduled orders will probably be scheduled.
But they do have too many orders with constrained options than they can schedule for this MY. Dropping those constrained items is a way to get unscheduled orders scheduled faster (and make sure you get as 22).

If not enough people drop those items, some orders will have to be moved to 2023 MY.

"These constraints will require some customers to have to either modify their existing 2022 model year retail order, or wait to place a 2023 model year retail order when the Maverick order bank re-opens this summer."

Based on this memo, it looks like many (/most?) unscheduled orders will like schedule in 2022 MY. Some may be pushed to the next.

Based on the OP, XLT orders with Luxury package and 360 are not effected.

It's a moving target. Given current world events, how optimistic are you that current supply constraints improve in the next six months? Because that's what it would take for Ford to build all the MY22 orders. I'd say the likelihood things actually get worse is higher than things significantly improving.
